Percy was one of the happiest campers to see the pool today. It has been a long, cold winter and he couldn’t have been more thrilled to re-unite with the warm weather. Percy spent his time in the yard alternating between running around with his friends and splashing around. He loved having some friends in the water with him. He was particularly fond of Casper, who also loved to romp around in the water making waves. In between all the swimming Percy loved keeping an eye on his husky friends. They are all so fast moving, which keeps him very occupied. He had a blast bolting through the tunnel and leaping over the all the obstacles trying to heard his mates.

Tsavo loved her morning walk with friends Kyah and Luna. She is so keen to motor along the trail with her nose to the ground. She is fond of the long growing grass, as it provides a lot more to investigate. In the yard Tsavo was thrilled to meet up with her girl, Vega. She tried her hardest to dance around with Vega which got Vega all excited. Vega ran into the pool and surprisingly Tsavo followed her in. The pair waded around, while pawing back and forth at one another. After some fun with Vega, Tsavo made her way to me for some cuddle time. Cai was very happy to walk with fluffy friend, Casper this morning. These boys motored along with their tails waging. In the yard Cai was mostly interested in all the smells that the grass and mud were covering. HE has his nose to ground for most his outdoor time, pausing to spend time by my side. He briefly danced around with group-mate, Bowen, only to be distracted by a bug flying by.

Teddy was a very busy boy today. His group kept him very occupied as he had a lot of playful huskies running around who he had to keep an eye on. Teddy was particularity focused on Lola and Nyxx who were playing around with toys. They were racing around the yard after one another trying to get the toy from each other and Teddy was right on their toes supervising the situation. He ran around so much after these two, never missing a beat even when they bolted through the tunnel he was right on them. Teddy loved racing around as usual but was also keen on the pool. He didn’t step in it, but he was sure to dip his muzzle in to cool off. At the end of group time he was very tired, lying in the grass sun bathing. He was happy to get back to his air conditioned kennel where he sprawled out on the cold tile and took a nice nap. By the time the next group outing occurred, he was full of energy and was more than happy to get running and playing all over again.

Daycare siblings Maya and Rocky had a wonderful day sunbathing in the hot sun we had this morning! But first Rocky wanted to check out the grassy yard and happily trailed behind his sister. Something about that warm sun had him moving this morning and he decided to make a few laps around the yard instead of immediately taking a seat by the door. Today, Maya decided that she would stay close to her brother; it was too hot to run around in the far yard she thought. It wasn’t long before the two of them made their way back to the gravel yard where they both stretched out along the perimeter of sun!

It has been a while since Barney has graced us with his presence, but he was back today and was smiling from ear to ear in excitement! He could hardly wait to get out that door this morning for his trail walk. He joined friends Coco and Timbits for his trot and forcefully led the way, he could hardly contain his energy, luckily he is small! He kept up the pace while outside a short while later where he joined the rest of the small dog group. He was one of the only ones to follow me out into the far yard; everyone else was trying to find comfort in the shade. Needless to say, Barney had a wonderful day and was due for an afternoons rest!

Victory was a new face to her group today and she was a little nervous at first to meet everyone, but boy did she have a blast today running around and swimming with her new friends! Rex was the first one to introduce himself to her and from that point on they were nearly inseparable. Rex tried very hard to entice her to play with him and she loved all the attention she was getting from her new friend. There was lots of entertainment from Victory and her group today, it was day one of pool season and Victory and her friends had a blast jumping in and out. Victory found herself in there often to have a drink and cool off her feet!

Spencer joined Victory out in the yard this morning and loved meeting this new friendly face. But he was mostly busy with his nose glued to the ground in exploration. I called him over to the pool to see if he wanted to have a dunk, he probably has more hair than everyone else in that yard combined! He happily hung out by the pools edge for the pool party and excitedly watched Charly and Tucker splash around but he preferred not to get his paws wet today! He then found a comfy spot in the shade by the door to cool off before heading back inside.

Max and Sadie were back to their usual selves this morning, rambunctious as ever! I noticed they have been more laid back lately but the warm sun brought back their playful side! I started filling up the pool during their outing and they were both very curious about the water. Max more so than Sadie, he wanted to see what I was doing and inched his way over. Once he made his way over I would lift the hose out of the pool and give him a good splash; he loved this game! Sadie on the other hand was well aware of my tricks and made sure not to get too close to where she could get sprayed. She ran back and took cover on top of the picnic table and sunbathed while Max and I splashed around in the pool!
