Finnigan had a blast running out his energy with good pals Charly and Icarus. We had a much-needed break from the rain but that didn’t stop Finn or Charly from getting their paws wet. I swear Finn is just drawn to the water and he and Charly had a wonderful time splashing in the puddles! Finn was very eager to steal the ball away from Charly; it's their favourite game! He had no such luck today but that gave him the opportunity to chase husky pup Icarus around the yard instead. The two of them jumped and played and sprinted across the yard in joy!

Kimi was excited to have a new face join her group this morning, it was that of Andre the Golden! When Andre entered the yard, best pals Kimi and Lola darted towards him and immediately enticed him to a game of chase. Lola was relentless when trying to get Andre’s attention and he enjoyed all the attention he was getting from these two Husky gals. Kimi and Lola have become the best of friends. Both have been boarding with us for a while now and have grown a strong bond with their countless outings together. Lola knows how to bring out Kimi’s wild side because we all know it’s always bursting to come out without notice!

Daycare pals Loki and Pippin had a grand time playing outside this morning along with the rest of our small dog guests. Pippin was just bursting at the seams with excitement, he happily followed me outside and into the far yard and was jumping up on his hind legs trying to get my attention. Luckily, he had his pick of friends to play with today and everyone wanted to run around with Pippin including Missy and Chase. Loki was off sniffing out the yard, it has been a while since I have seen his sweet face and he was thrilled to be back! But it wasn’t long before Pippin enticed him to game of chase around the yard, who could deny Pippin of his request! Then Loki had fun dancing with little Shelby, the two of them hit it off right away and spent the rest of their morning wrestling!  

Max and Sadie were up to their usual shenanigans this morning. Max sped out the door and started running his usual laps around the yard, while Sadie debated which rock she wanted to sit on today. I made the choice easy for her by taking a seat of my own, no way she was going to let me sit and not receive kisses. She ran over and started licking my face in excitement. It wasn’t long before Max joined us and was happily licking the other side of my face! Then all was interrupted when they noticed Kinsey walking Summit along the back trail, which got them excited as they watched them walk back and forth on the path across the bridge. Once out of sight, they were back to their usual ways and were loving the warm weather we had today!
