Hobart was quick to start his morning with some exploring. As soon as he entered the agility yard he was distracted by something in the rocks. Hobart’s actions caught the eye of the rest of the group who all joined him to check it out. When he was finally satisfied he’d checked it over as thoroughly as he could, Hobart headed out to check out more of the yard. Hobart didn’t make it very far when he decided that the entrance to the yard had the most interesting scents. A little while later Hobart decided to head back out in the yard to try once more to see if maybe it was more interesting. He came across some rocks with a bunch of grass growing from between the cracks. Hobart spent the rest of the group time checking them out.

Percy couldn’t wait to get outside. He went charging out to the agility yard pausing only to see what the others were looking at. Percy quickly found himself a toy that he snatched up as he raced past. He went racing around the yard showing it off to everyone. Percy then noticed Justice and Mocha playing together. Wanting to get in on the fun, Percy went bouncing over to see about joining in. They bounced around for a little while before they all split up do check out different parts of the yard. Percy went running off around the yard then noticed Issy sniffing something out in the grass. He decided to go and join her and check it out himself. When that was done, Percy went trotting off to join Merida. Percy finished up his exploring and was then ready to play. He met up with Brenyn and soon they were off racing around the yard. It wasn’t long before they were joined by Justice.

Issy and Mocha set out into the agility yard and were quick to put their noses to the ground. Mocha was very interested in something close to the entrance to the yard while Issy was more interested in things a little further into the yard. Mocha eventually finished checking out the spot near the entranced and made to follow Issy. Along the way she met up with Justice. Mocha was quick to forget all about exploring with Issy. Mocha and Justice started having fun bouncing around. They later found themselves joined by Percy, who didn’t want to miss out on the fun. It wasn’t too much later that Mocha left the boys to go and do some more exploring. Issy was off exploring in the grassy section of the yard with Magic. Mocha started to make her way out there when she became distracted by the agility jump. After having a thorough inspection of the jump, Mocha went over to join Merida in the grass rocks. They then enjoyed some time together sampling the grass. Issy finally finished with the grassy portion of the yard and went to go trotting around the rest of the yard.

Tucker went running out to the agility yard. It didn’t take him long to find a toy, which is definitely his favourite activity. Tucker went trotting around showing it off. He then brought it over to me and looked like he wanted to ask me to throw it, but instead spent some time chewing on it. Eventually he was ready for a game of fetch. Tucker dropped the toy and stared at me until I threw it. We ended up only playing a couple rounds because Tucker snatched up the toy and went trotting off with it to lay down and have another good chew on it.

Will was so excited to get outside and he took off racing around the yard. After a couple laps he made his way over to where Wally and Glory were doing some exploring in the grass. Will was then happy to join them in searching in the grass while also occasionally sampling some of it along the way. After he had seen all he wanted to see, Will headed out to check out other parts of the yard. A while later Will noticed everyone hanging out near the gate and came racing over to see what was going on. There he met up with Brenyn. It didn’t take long for the two of them to start play bowing which soon turned into the wrestling and racing around the yard.

Maverick and Shyla were ready to start their morning. They were both full of energy and couldn’t wait to start playing and they both wanted me involved. Since I couldn’t really participate in the wrestling they were okay to just do that themselves. Maple bumped right into Shyla, trying to get her attention so that Shyla would join her. Shyla didn't even seem to notice and continued trying to get me to join the play. Maverick then noticed that I now had a toy and was about to throw it. He switched from playing with Shyla to wanting to play with Maple. Maverick got to the toy first, but let Maple pick it up so he could then chase after her. After running around for a while Maverick and Maple headed over to sample some grass growing from the rocks. Shyla, now curious, went over to sample some herself.

Maple started her morning no different then most mornings. She went racing out, found a toy in record time and then went tearing off around the yard with it. Maple soon wanted someone else running around with her. She started to try and get Shyla’s attention. At one point Maple ended up crashing into her when she miss calculated her distance when running by. Maple ended up dropping her toy so I snatched it up so we could play a came of fetch. This also caught Maverick’s eye so now Maple had a little competition. Maple ended up getting to the toy first and was quite proud of herself and even more happy that now Maverick was chasing her. They ran around for a little while. Soon they needed a break and headed over to try some grass growing from the rocks by the fence.

Maggie was so happy to get outside this morning. She went trotting out to see what the others were up to and to check out the yard. Maggie then came trotting over to see how I was doing and to get some pets. She repeated this a couple times before finally taking up a position to watch the rest of the group. Maggie eventually went running off to do some exploring in the grassy section of the yard. She didn’t stay there long and soon went running over to see what the others were looking at over by the fence in the rocks. Maggie then spent the rest of the group time hanging out with the others sampling the grass growing there.

Porsche set out with her nose to the ground. She was quick to make her way out to the far yard. Porsche went trotting around in the grass checking out anything that caught her attention. When she had finally seen enough she made her way over to me for some pets and attention.

Kai had a quiet day outside today. She walked out with the others and got very excited when she was with them in the hallway. When she followed them outside she decided to roam around and take it easy. She wandered around with her nose glued to the ground and began to sniff some grass in the far yard. Everyone in Kai's group had the same idea today and joined her to explore. Whenever a dog ran up to say hi she quickly gave them a sniff and was on her way. Eventually a couple of the dogs began getting playful and were really interested Kai. They ran up to her and started to bounce around her while pawing at her side to get her attention. Kai started getting excited as well and ran around in a circle with them before it was time to continue walking around.

Jake was in such a good mood out in the yard today. He usually takes a little while to go off on his own and sniff around the yard with Bella but today right as he walked out the door he had so much energy and he chased Maya J. all the way to the other end of the yard. They began to run around in circles and wrestle with each other. Maya was enjoying it just as much as Jake was it seems. Jake kept on running up to me and hopping up on my back to give me kisses whenever I was trying to take photos of them playing. Then he would run back to Maya and jump on her to continue running around. Maya kept of sneaking off whenever Jake got distracted to sniff around the dirt. She loves the dirt and whenever she’s not playing you can find her over where the holes are. When Maya was all tired out from playing so heavily with Jake she walked over and started to dig in one of the already made holes to make it bigger. She dug for a minute before sitting down in the cool dirt. Maya seemed happy for a cool spot to relax after playing so much. 

Bella was very calm when she first came outside this morning, unlike Jake. She took her time to wander around the yard as some of the other dogs ran over to the grass part of the yard, she stayed near Rocky and ran up to him to say hello. Rocky was on a mission this morning and was wandering around the whole time he was outside. He usually likes to walk around for a bit or even stay by the door while he’s outside to relax. He made it all the way to the grass part of the yard on his own. He walked through the tall grass while stopping to sniff some of the flowers. Bella followed right behind him and sniffed wherever he was walking. I called Bella over to me and she pranced over with a huge smile on her face to give me a kiss. She’s so affectionate that she hopped up on my lap when I was sitting on a rock in the yard and sat there as I was petting her. Jake ran over when he saw how much attention Bella was getting and he kept on jumping up on Bella to get her to come down. She eventually jumped down to join him and all of a sudden out of no where she began to chase him around the yard, the two of them along with Maya started playing a bug game of tag together while Rocky stuck to himself to explore, I walked over and said hi to him while giving him some cuddles before we went back inside.

Apple and Sky were being so sweet this morning. They were both laying together all cozied up on one of their big beds sleeping when I came to change their clothes. When I took off their shirts I gave them both big belly rubs before putting their new ones on and they showed me so much love. Outside they took off on their own at first to start exploring. Sky trotted out to the further yard while Apple wasn’t too far behind him. She went straight to her usual spot in the corner along the fence to begin to explore while Sky took his time wandering around the yard with no particular direction in mind. I love when  they get involved and play with the other dogs but it usually takes a bit for them to get going so I decided to take it upon myself and started running around the yard and they began to chase me right away. Apple caught up to me so quickly and hopped around, barking at me and when I turned around Sky was standing right there doing the same thing. Eventually they stopped chasing me and began to run with Miko instead. 

Miko had the same idea as Apple and Sky today during their groups. Miko stayed on his own when he first got outside. He headed to the further yard to sniff around on his own and to explore. He made his way from one side of the yard, stopping at some of the big rocks and toys to smell them to all the way to the other end of the yard. I called him over to me but he was very busy wandering the yard and ran to the other direction to continue what he was doing. When he saw how excited Apple and Sky were getting as they were running around and playing with me, it made him excited as well. He started to get playful like he usually is and ran over to start chasing them. They played tag and ran around in circles for a little bit before everyone ran out of breath and had to take a break. Miko kept on following them around the yard though and sniffed wherever they would go. When it was time to go back inside Miko wasn’t ready to come and thought it was time to play a game of tag with me, I cased him all around the yard twice until he walked right in the door and into his kennel.

Cooper was such a happy boy today. He always has the biggest smile on his face and is down to play with whoever is willing to play with him. He started off by running around on his own while saying hi to all of the dogs. He ran up to Pippin first who was wandering around on his own and sniffing along the rocks. Cooper ran around him in circles trying to get Pippin to play with him but he wasn’t interested just yet. Instead, Pippin wanted to continue to walk around the yard and explore for a little while. I called him over to say hi to me but he was too distracted by all of his exploring. Cooper didn’t mind though and took off to go say hi to the next dog. After he sniffed and said hi to all of the dogs he ran right over to me. I was sitting on the rock when he hopped up and gave me a bunch of kisses. After a minute he hopped back down and sat on the grass next to the rock so that I could continue petting him there. He is such a good boy and listens so well. He always comes to me whenever I call him over even if he is busy playing. Meanwhile, Pippin was over exploring with Merlin. Merlin kept mostly to himself the whole time outside today. He liked to socialize with the others as he made his way along, stopping to greet his pals and then continue on his way. Pippin and Cooper started to hop around together and ran up to Merlin to see what he was up to. He was so amused by them and continued to watch them for a bit. He walked over to the further yard as Cooper and Pippin ran over there during their game of tag. He started to run up and pounce in between them as they were play bowing at each other then walked off again to explore some more. When everyone walked over to the door when it was almost time to go inside all three of them jumped up on my knees when I was kneeling down and gave me so much love.

Extra Attention:

Tucker had such a fun time during his extra attention today. He came up to the front with me while I was at the desk and was giving me kisses right away. I sat on the floor with him for a bit as I rubbed his belly and he rolled around on the ground. I brought out a big long stuffed caterpillar that he ended up playing with the entire time. It squeaked whenever he bit it which made him so much more interested in it. He brought it over and whipped the other end up so it landed on my lap for me to play a game of tug a war with him. I was sitting on a chair that had wheels so as he was pulling his end it was pulling me all around the room!

Will couldn’t wait for it to be time for his extra attention. We made our way up to the front where after a quick search Will found a toy that he quite liked. Will picked it up and went trotting around the room pausing to show it to me. After a couple more laps he settled down next to me to have a nice chew while getting lots of pets.Will, like Tucker, was particularly interested in the caterpillar toy since it's soft and has lots of squeakers. He brought it over to show some of the other staff who were in the reception area and he looked very proud when he came back into the office with his prize.
