Kai’s attention was quickly caught by something on the ground shortly after she entered the agility yard. After giving it a very thorough once over, Kai headed to check out some more of the yard. As she was going around she saw Tatoo rolling around. She went over to see what he was up to, but by the time she got there he was already on his feet. They gave each other a quick once over then split up to do some exploring. Kai ended up making her way over to me for a visit. She then went a few feet away and threw herself to the ground. Kai was doing some very slow motion rubbing of her back. I wasn’t sure if she was waiting for me to rub her belly, but I gave her some good pets anyways. When I stopped, she stopped and sat up a bit to look at me. She then promptly rolled back over. Kai then sprang up and went bouncing over to Poppy. The two of them then had a great time bouncing around. Eventually they were joined by Oreo and Leah.

Leah and Poppy wanted to start their morning group with some exploring. They all split up around the yard checking out different things. Leah and Poppy would meet up every now and then to see how the other was doing and do a little exploring together. Poppy later spotted Tatoo rolling around on the ground. She went over to see what he was up to. After watching him for a while she went to rejoin Leah. They continued exploring together for the next little, until Poppy made her way over to me. We spent some time together while Leah continued to explore. Kai later approached Poppy wanting to play. Poppy was more than happy to oblige and soon they were bouncing around having a great time. After a little while Oreo joined them. Leah, still very focused on her exploring, finally noticed Poppy having fun. Not wanting to miss out, Leah went running over to join in.

Oreo went running off not quite sure what she wanted to do with herself. She checked on what the other dogs in the group were up to before heading off to explore in the grass. Oreo stopped by me a couple times to say hello and get a quick pat. She would then run off once more on the search for something. As Oreo was running around she spotted Poppy and Kai playing. She watched them for a little while, but soon couldn’t resist any longer. Oreo went racing over to try and steal Poppy away. They had a couple moments of bouncing and running around alone, but Kai was soon wanting to join back in. The three of them then had a great time together. After a short while they were also joined by Leah.

Tucker set off to see what he could find around the yard and hee came across a toy on his adventures. Tucker then stopped and stared at me. When I didn’t take the hint quickly enough he snatched up the toy and brought it over to show it to me. Tucker then went trotting off with his toy. He eventually settled down to have a nice chew on the toy.  A little while later I turned around and there was Tucker staring at me but now he had a different toy. I tossed it around for him a couple times before he decided to have a chew on this one as well. Eventually he left the toy and went to see what was going on around the yard. Tucker went back to the orange toy. I then showed him the blue one from before and gave it a toss. He went chasing after it and ended up with both toys in his mouth! Feeling quite proud of himself he settled down for another chew.

Will went racing off around the yard. He then spotted the grassy section and went off to do some exploring. When Will had checked out everything he wanted to, he headed off to see what the others were up to. He went over to Brenyn and decided he quite liked her. Soon they were bouncing around having some fun. Brenyn ended up leaving him to go and play with Finnigan. Will let them have fun on their own for a couple minutes and then ran to join in. The three of them went running around the yard. Will was focused on getting Brenyn to pay attention to him as they ran along. After a while they took a break from playing so Will went off to see what else was going on around the yard.

Finnigan was so happy and excited to be out in the same group as his favorite bloodhounds. He bounced around with Wally before the two of them went running off together. They split up and Finnigan headed off to do some exploring. He ended up finding himself a Frisbee. Finnigan was quite pleased with himself and went running around to show it off to everyone. As he raced past Glory he ditched the toy and went see about getting her to wrestle with him. Finnigan didn’t leave his toy long and was quick to snatch it back up. Brenyn went running over to him wanting to play. Finnigan dropped the toy and went racing off with her. Soon the two of them were joined by Will. Eventually they needed a bit of a break so Finnigan ran back to snatch up his Frisbee. He went off to lay down with his prize, but that didn't last long. Brenyn went running over and grabbed the toy! Finnegan then had a blast chasing after Brenyn trying to get it back, which he managed to do a couple of times.

Maverick and Shyla were all about the exploring, as they usually are first thing. They went trotting out to see what was new in the yard and to see who all was in their group. Maverick and Shyla split up to check out different parts of the yard. They then both stopped at pretty much the exact same time to just stand and watch what was going on in the rest of the yard.  The spell broke and they headed off to do some more exploring. Maverick and Shyla ended up making their way to the centre of the yard to check out something of interest. They then found themselves being joined by Maggie. Once they’d thoroughly checked it out they went trotting off to do another tour of the yard. Shyla soon started to feel a little bit more frisky and went and pounced on Maple. Soon they were having a blast wrestling and racing around the yard. Maverick was still all about the exploring and continued to go trotting around checking out anything that caught his attention. When Shyla was done playing with Maple she went and joined her brother for some more exploring.

Maple took off running as soon as her feet touched the ground outside. She went tearing around the yard until she found a bone. Maple snatched it up, but as she took off with it she ended up dropping it. She didn’t bother to go back and continued running around the yard. Maple took a break from running when she got out to the grassy section of yard. She was joined by Maggie and they spent some time exploring together. Maple was soon back to ripping around the yard at full speed and she also retrieved the bone from earlier. I showed Maple a toy and she was quick to ditch the bone and waited for me to throw the toy. She snatched it up and went running off. Maple came across Molly and decided she’d rather liked her toy more. She waited until she saw an opportunity and stole Molly’s toy away. Maple went racing off in victory with Molly tagging along. Maple eventually let Molly have the toy back. She then set out to do some more exploring around the yard.  Maple ended up meeting up with Shyla and soon the two of them were wrestling and having a great time together. After a little while Maple branched off to go and play with a toy.

Maggie wanted to know what everyone was up to around the yard. She stopped to see what Molly was chewing on then made her way out to join Maple in the grassy section. After Maple left, Maggie headed off to see what else was going on in the yard. She was very intent in her search around the yard. After a while Maggie took up a central position where she could see everything that was going around her. She spotted Shyla and Maverick checking something out intently and headed over to check it out with them. When her curiosity was satisfied, Maggie went trotting off around the yard once more. Maggie did a couple more laps then decided to make her way over to me for some pets and attention.

Molly found herself a toy as soon as she got outside. She was quick to lay down and settle in for a good chew. Eventually Molly was finished with just chewing and decided it was time to play some fetch. She made her way over to me and dropped the toy then stared at me expectantly. We then had some fun tossing it around. A little while later she found her toy being eyed by Maple. Maple waited patiently and eventually managed to steal the toy away. Molly wasn’t about to give up easily and went chasing after her. Maple ended up dropping the toy so Molly was quite happy to snatch it up and go lie down for another chew. 
 

Keegan was the most excited one in his group to go outside this morning. He pranced up and down the hallway while wagging his little tail and saying hi to the other dogs. He waited outside of Cooper's kennel impatiently until I opened it for him to join the others. After Cooper joined him they both ran outside to start their day. Keegan made his way to the further part of the yard to walk around the grass while Cooper stayed near me. He was full of beans and kept jumping up on my legs for me to kneel down and give him some attention. I pet him for a bit until he walked away, and then got everyone to chase me into the further yard to start playing. Keegan wasn’t interested in playing at first and kept to himself as he explored the yard, but when Cooper began to play he finally got interested and ran over to watch them. Keegan didn’t join in with everyone though, instead he ran along with them and stayed a few feet back to bark while they wrestled. I picked up a Frisbee and threw it for the two of them to chase across the yard and they both jumped up at my feet so eager to run after it. Once I threw it the two of them took off. Cooper managed to snatch it first and ran around to show it off while Keegan chased him in circles.

Apple and Sky had such a nice day today. I took them for a walk this morning and made sure they were very warm since it was so windy out. Sky took it slow on the trail at first but once we started going he got the hang of it and kept right beside apple. Outside they both separated as they explored the yard. Apple loves to walk along the fence and stick her nose through the holes to chew at the long grass sticking out. Sky wanders wherever and sniffs along the ground. He always comes up to me for cuddles, and whenever one of them comes up to me the other one follows. I cuddled them for so long today before I decided to get up and get them to start playing. Apple was beginning to get excited already and was prancing around in circles barking at me to chase her. I started to chase her around a bit when Cooper joined in and started chasing after her. When Sky saw them playing he couldn’t help but to run over and join up with Apple. The two of them started to chase Cooper all around the yard until we came back inside.

Maya and Jake were extra playful out in the yard this morning. Jake waited for me by the door until I joined them outside. He loves attention and is such a sweet boy. Meanwhile Maya is very sweet but has too much energy to wait around and not put it to use. She ran into the further yard and began to explore whilst running along the fence. Every now and then she would stop to run up to a dog and say hello then get back to her sniffing. It didn’t take long before Jake ran up and started to jump up on Maya to play. They jumped on each others backs for a little bit while running in circles before taking off to play a big game of tag.  It was just the two of them running around together at first before some of the others started to notice and joined in for a bit right before it was time to go inside. When I was sitting on one of the big rocks while watching their group, Jake ran right up to me and hopped up on my lap to kiss my face while Maya ran over to start investigating a hole in the ground.

Bella decided to take it slow this morning when we first got outside. She and Rocky hung around the door for a little while before joining the others in the grass yard. Bella seemed to be very interested in Rocky and sniffed around him until they met noses and said a proper hello. I picked up Rocky and brought him over to the further yard with me so he could explore over with the other dogs for a little while since he usually doesn't make the trip into the grassy yard. Bella wandered around the yard on her own and randomly kept on running up to Jake to chase him around. They played for a little bit here and there but she kept stopping every few minutes to take off on her own and run around. She loves my attention and always comes up to me to give me lots of kisses. I ended up picking her up and sitting her on my lap while I sat on a rock. She sat there perfectly still and rubbed her head against me so I would pet her more; what a girl.

Athena and Aphrodite are usually so calm when they're in their kennel and love to take lots of naps to sleep through the day when they're inside. But whenever I bring out their lunch the two of them, along with Hercules in the next-door-kennel get so excited and wound up that they start spinning around until they get their food! During groups outside Hercules was so energetic right from the beginning. He began to bounce around the yard while wiggling his body with excitement. He ran up to me and tried to give me kisses but couldn't stay still long enough to manage to do so. He continued to run around the yard until he came across a dog that sparked his interest, Merida. She's just a small girl but Hercules wanted to play with her so bad that he ran around her in circles to try to get her attention. She wasn't sure she was ready to play but Hercules kept on wiggling around her. I called him over to see me instead. Athena and Aphrodite stayed relaxed while they were outside. They took off into the agility yard and Aphrodite walked all the way to the other end of the yard while Athena stayed near the door, she walked up to me and nudged her head into my side to be pet. when I knelt down to cuddle her she gave me so many kisses! Aphrodite saw from across the yard and took a break from exploring and ran over with a big smile on her face. They were both giving me so much love as all the other dogs decided to come over and join that I had to get up before it started a dog pile. I tried to get the two of them to play by running around them in circles to get them excited, the only one that enjoyed this was Hercules and in the end it was just us running around while the other two took off to sniff around some more.

Porsche is such a sweet girl, she got to spend some one-on-one time with all the staff today and she was happy for the attention. During her walk this morning she behaved so well. She was getting distracted by all the scents and kept trying to explore off of the trail. But it didn't take much for me to call her back on track. Outside during play time she loved to wander around and sniff along the grass. This girl had her nose glued to the ground as she smelled whatever she could find. She started by the door and made her way along the fence into the further yard, then continued to walk around the agility tunnel and around the entire yard before giving her nose a break and looking up. I called her over to me and sat on a rock as she sat for me and I gave her some good pets. She was having a hard time sitting still though and took off again shortly after that to continue exploring more. After she was done we made our way back to the door where we sat and cuddled for a bit before heading back inside.

Extra Attention:

Tucker is such a silly boy. During his enhanced today I took him up front with me as I sat at the desk. He kept on running around me trying to get my attention, then once I pet him he would take off and run around the room some more. Eventually he settled down a bit and came over to be pet more but this time as I was petting him he slowly melted into the ground and stretched out his legs for me to rub his belly. After I was done he gave me lots of kisses and went to go explore around the office, he came across a plastic bone that he brought over beside me and started to chew on. He was distracted ever since he got it and laid there with me until he went back to his kennel.

Will was ready for it to be time for his extra attention. He went racing up to the front room where we were going to hang out. Will went around the room giving everything a good once over. He then headed my way for some pets and cuddles. Eventually he had enough loving and went off and found himself a bone to have a good chew session on. Will made sure that he was nice and close to me though on the off chance I wanted to pet him at the same time. He got up and looked in the toy bin a few times before deciding that the bone he'd found was his favourite of all the toys. He showed it to everyone in both the reception area and the office before coming back to sit by my desk.
