Mikka had a wonderful morning trail walk joined by pals Flora and Miko. The three of them had a blast zooming down the trail together. Mikka was ecstatic to see best pal Barb out in the yard today. These two always have the best time running around and wrestling together. Their favorite spot to wrestle is underneath the picnic table and they could have spent all day long there if they could. As much fun as Mikka was having with Barb, she couldn’t help but chase after Cooper who was excitedly taunting her. She joined him for a quick dip in the pool and little Barb followed behind. It wasn’t long before she was right back where she started in her happy place with Barb under the play structure!

Tuesdays mean best friends and fellow daycare pals Miko, Lola and Pearl are in for a day of fun. As usual, Miko was one of the first ones out the door, ready for his playgroup. He saved just enough energy after running along the trail this morning with pals Mikka and Flora. Off he went flying into the air in excitement to explore the yards and see which friends he could play with. He always gravitates towards Pearl; he absolutely adores her and always seems to be able to get a quick wrestle out of her. Which is hard, since she is always so concentrated with her little nose to the ground in exploration; she is always on the move! Surprisingly Lola was on the move as well, I expected her to spend most of her time sunbathing on such a beautiful day like today, but she wanted to follow sister Pearl out into the yard and see what was going on. She was in an exceptionally perky mood, and loved being in the centre of all the action.

Coco and Timbits have been having the best visit with us! Every morning when I come in, they excitedly greet me at their kennel door ready to start the day. Thrilled to have yet another beautiful and sunny day, Coco and Timbits had the best time running around the yard with their favorite four-legged friends. Timbits loved having the energetic Cooper around and the two of them played a good game of fetch together. Meanwhile, Coco was already out into the far grassy yard, with her little investigative nose deep into the long blades of grass. Next time I saw her, she was rolling around on her back in the grass in pure happiness!

Grace had another fabulous day well spent in our care. To start the day, she headed out for her morning trail walk, probably her favorite part of the day! After stretching out her long legs, she was ready to meet up with the rest of the small-dog clan outside. She was smiling from ear to ear and definitely enjoys her time in such good company. She is such a social girl and is the perfect addition to her group with her calm and joyous energy! She was happy to see that fellow Beagle friends Coco and Timbits were still here; they have become fast friends over this past week and love to chase one another around the yard. After a morning of fun, she was ready for her extra attention session this afternoon and went on a lovely walk with Aaron and then had some sniffing time inside.

Boris and Tasha met up with their good friend Percy for their morning walk to start their day. After a good march around the path, the three musketeers excitedly raced out into the play yard to meet the rest of their group. Boris and Tasha were immediately drawn to a new face that belonged to Tessa the Lab mix. They approached her to say hello and she didn’t hesitate before dropping down into a play-bow. Meanwhile, Percy was having a grand time splashing around in the fresh pool water with his pal Charly the Golden. I went and found a ball for Percy and threw a couple of rounds of fetch for he and Charly, who can never resist a good game with a little competition. Boris and Tasha continued to wrestle around with Tessa, which drew Percy’s attention to the game of chase, sending him flying over to join in. Boris, Tasha, Tessa and Percy did lap after lap of the yard together at top speed! They eventually needed to cool off and went over to take turns in the pool, before heading over by the door where the yard is most shady. Boris said hello to his small friend Resa, while Tasha said hello to her Mama Issy and Percy went back in search of his toy.

Issy and Mocha enjoyed their morning walk alongside their fellow daycare group-mate, Resa. This is certainly Mocha’s favourite part of the day and she just loves to explore the field with Issy trotting along beside her. Later on during groups, Mocha ventured out into the main part of the yard to have a look around, while Issy went to say hello to Tessa, a Lab mix who just arrived this morning. Issy spent some time wandering with her and sniffing in the grass, but Mocha decided to head back to her usual spot on the doorstep. I went to spend some time with her and give her a head scratch and she seemed happy for my company as well as the company of some other daycare friends.
