Teddy and Kizmet had a wonderful day. In the morning, they were both a little hesitant to get out of their cozy beds and go outside into the pouring rain. But when they got outside they didn't mind it so much. After that, the boys went out for their morning walk on the trails together. They relaxed for a bit before their next group rotation. This time when they went outside, Kizmet was in quite a playful mood. He ran up to his friends in the group and greeted them happily. Teddy followed behind Kizmet as he ran around greeting everyone. Kizmet really enjoyed playing around with his pal Titan. Kizmet would run up to him and pounce at him or jump up at him. Kizmet, Teddy, and Titan ran around the yard together. Every time they would stop running, Teddy would jump onto Kizmet's back, which then Kizmet would swat him off. The boys wandered over to a big puddle that had been caused by the rain, and Kizmet started to paw around at the water while Teddy watched.

George and Titan had a great day spent together and with friends. In the morning, the boys were more than excited to get outside and start their day. After their first outing, it was time for walks. Titan walked with his friend, Summit. Meanwhile, George went on a shorter walk with his friend, Timber. Both of the boys had an excellent walk. Later on, their group went outside for playtime. Titan bounced around the kennel as soon as he knew it was time to go outside. George began his time outside by sniffing around the yard. He ran from one corner to the yard to another. Titan greeted his friends first, then followed George as he explored around the yard. Kizmet came over to Titan and started to pounce around with him. They began to play, Kizmet and Teddy chased Titan all around the yard. Meanwhile, George got some cuddles from me.

Leah and Poppy had a great day. In the morning, the girls enjoyed their first outing regardless of the rain. Soon after that it was time for their morning walk. Leah and Poppy enjoyed their walk together along with their friend Drew. A little while later, it was once again time for an outdoor group rotation. When they got outside, they stayed by each others side for a while. Leah was quite playful so she went off to find some friends to run around with. She found her friend Tallee to play with. They chased each other all around the yard. Tallee ran as fast as she could while Leah chased her. At one point, Tallee changed directions suddenly and rolled over top of Leah. They were having so much fun. Poppy watched the action happen with her ears perked up. Every once in a while she would quickly run in too to join in, but she mostly enjoyed relaxing.

Jake had a fun time with friends today. In the morning, Jake was full of energy and ready to go outside to see all of his friends first thing. He had a great time on his first outing of the day. Then, it was time for Jake to go on his walk on the trails. He walked with his friend Lyla, and the two dogs had a great time together. Not too long after his walk, it was time for Jake to go outside again for another playtime. He was so happy to get outside and see everyone, he bounced all around the yard when he first got out. He ran over to me and pounced, then quickly ran away as fast as he could. This attracted some attention from his other friends around the yard, and they began to play around. Jake ran up to his friend Kai, and began to sniff her nose. She stood with her tail up and ears perked up. All of a sudden, Jake pounced and Kai ran. They ran around the yard for a while.

Kai was always happy to see anyone today, In the morning, Kai had to get a cuddle from me first thing in the morning. She came and rested her head on my lap. I rubbed her back and made sure to give her lots of attention. It was then time for Kai's morning walk, and today she went with her new pal Mack. They had a great walk together. Kai had a quick rest between her walk and next outdoor playtime rotation. When she got outside, Kai first greeted me. I gave her a quick cuddle then she went off with the rest of her friends. Her pal Jake ran up to her and starting sniffing her nose. This got her in a playful mood, and she prepared herself to pounce and run at any minute. Jake suddenly pounced at her, and Kai went running. They ran around for a bit and had lots of fun.

Tyson got out on his walk as soon as he came in this morning. He seemed quite excited to burn off some energy. He walked through the grassy trails with his new friend, Tallee. They had a great time together! Not too long after his walk, Tyson was back outside again this time for a group rotation. Since he was new to the group, all of the dogs came over to greet him. He wagged his tail and let everyone sniff him. After that, he went off and explored around the puddle covered yard. He seemed to really like sniffing along the edge of the fence, where long green grass grows. Every once in a while I would see him take a nibble of the grass. Whenever some playing action happened in the group, Tyson would jump around with them.

Tinkerbell was delighted to see that the rain had let up just in time for her group. She trotted outside with the rest of the dogs and happily said hello to everyone. She and her good friends Pearl and Lola had enjoyed a very wet walk in the morning. Then Tinkerbell saw the others running around in the grass so she went over to see what they were up to. I showed her a few toys and she politely sniffed them before moving on. Tinkerbell decided to use the time to explore the yard. Only she was brave enough to truck through the wet grass, but she didn’t mind the peace and quiet while she wandered around. I visited her often with cuddles and attention so that she would have some company. Eventually Tinkerbell found that she’d had enough of the outdoors and came over to sit at my feet until we made our way inside.

Charlotte was super excited to see all of her friends again today! She ran right out the door with the others close behind her and went racing to the far yard. At first she wasn’t quite sure what to do with all of her energy and just ran around in circles. I found a Frisbee for her to play with, and immediately Charlotte appeared at my feet, jumping and dancing and waiting for me to throw it. She went bolting after it as soon as I did, and instead of picking it up off the ground with her mouth, she attempted to flip it over using her front paws. It was quite funny to watch. After a few more rounds with the Frisbee, Charlotte paused for a break and cuddled with me for a bit. We headed over to the tunnel where I managed to persuade her to put her head in, though she wouldn’t go any further. After that, she was ready to play again. This time I showed her a colourful ball with a bell in it. She thought this was amazing, and wasted no time grabbing it out of the air when I tossed it to her. Charlotte then carried it off to show all of her friends.

Khal is such a cutie! He had a great walk this morning with his friend Kyah, and when it was time for groups he enjoyed having some one-on-one time in the yard. Of course, it had started pouring rain again as soon as we got outside, but Khal didn’t let the weather ruin his mood at all and he was prancing about with his tail wagging. I had him sit nicely for a picture. Then he caught an intriguing scent on the wind and wandered off to see if he could identify it. After a while of sniffing around with no luck, he came trotting back over to say hello to me again. We cuddled and I tried to interest Khal in a few toys. He didn’t really like the rope toy but seemed to want to play with the Frisbee. I waved it around for him to see and Khal got very excited – but when I threw it he just watched it fly across the yard and then looked at me expectantly. Khal decided that he would rather cuddle and explore the yard than play, so that’s what we did for the rest of group time.

Shyla and Maverick began their day with a nice walk. They didn’t let the rain get them down and continued to trot along the trail with their heads up as if it was warm and sunny. It was still very wet outside when it came time for groups. The two of them saw their friend Kelly running around and decided they should join in. Maverick stuck around for a lap or two before he wandered over to sit with me and watch his sister play. Shyla was darting all over the place with Kelly. The girls would slide to a stop, play-bow, and then take off again. Maverick got a few cuddles from me and then went to explore the yard. By now, Shyla had slowed down for a breather and Kelly had gone running off with a few other dogs. Shyla found Maverick sniffing around and decided to join him for a little bit. Eventually the two of them ended up near me again and I spent some time giving them both plenty of cuddles. I had Maverick sit for a picture, and then I tried asking for a paw, but he got a little confused. He must of thought I was offering him something instead because he just licked my hand and then wandered off again.

Kelly and Riley are very entertaining to watch. They both have so much energy and we always make sure to put it to good use. Today, Riley decided to spend some time exploring the yard and sniffing around for anything interesting. Kelly, on the other hand, wanted to play as soon as she got outside! At first she was content to just run around by herself. Then she caught the attention of Shyla and Maverick, who went chasing after her. Kelly was so excited to see her friends playing that she forgot what she was doing, came to a stop and was mowed down a moment later by Shyla. She quickly jumped back up and started to race around the yard again, this time with the other two close on her heels. Eventually Maverick wandered off, while Kelly and Shyla continued to play. Riley saw the activity and hurried over. He pounced on Kelly and then was tackled by Lyla a moment later. The group had so much fun wrestling and running around with each other, and Kelly and Riley were right in the middle!

Molly fit right in with her group of Goldens. She started out by saying hello to Riley, who looks so similar they could practically be twins, and then moved on to Kelly. Once Molly had greeted everyone, she decided that it would be a good day to explore the yard. She darted back and forth in the grass with her nose working away. After inspecting the tunnel, Molly was making her way over to me when she suddenly tripped over a rope toy. Immediately she snatched it up and flung it in the air. Then she carried it over to me, sat it at my feet and waited for me to take the hint. We played some fetch and Molly had so much fun trying to grab the toy while it was sailing over her head. She was so involved in the game that she didn’t even notice Lyla hiding behind the tunnel. Molly wasn’t quite fast enough to grab the toy before Lyla did, but she refused to be left toy-less and set off in search of something new to play with. Soon she had discovered a Frisbee, and we continued our game.

Roxy was in a hurry to get outside this morning! She teamed up with some new friends and had a great time exchanging greetings with all of them. Her favourites were Wally and Glory. She followed them around until Wally noticed her and then they would both pounce on each other. They weren’t quite sure if they wanted to run around or wrestle, so they just bounced back and forth before settling down again. Roxy went to wander about the yard. Soon she was back with the other two and this time Glory was the one who played with her. Ricky also came over to say hello and Roxy got so excited to meet another friend! After hanging out with them for a bit, she came over to see me and I spent some time giving her a nice back rub, until a rope toy caught Roxy’s attention. We went back and forth between playing fetch and cuddling. Then I had Roxy pose for a picture. As soon as I lowered the camera she suddenly went tearing after Wally and Glory, and ran around with them.

Carter was certainly not a fan of the rain but he was determined not to let it get him down. He said hello to the rest of his group with his tail wagging and then trotted over for some attention from me. What a sweetheart! Carter was so happy when I started petting him and he was wiggling around so much I could hardly cuddle him. Then he headed out to explore the yard. He bumped into Roxy and Mercer, and gave both of them a thorough sniff. Next, Carter investigated the tunnel. He poked his head inside and discovered that it was nice and dry. Carter put one foot in, and suddenly Carter stepped right into a puddle. He quickly backed up and decided to leave the tunnel for another day. While he was checking out around the agility jump, he saw me taking pictures and came hurrying over to say hi. I found a rope toy for him to play with and when I tossed it towards him, Carter attempted to pounce on it while it was still in midair. He was a little puzzled when the toy landed in a completely different spot!
