Groups

Tasha and Boris were very excited to be heading out for their group time. They went charging out the door. Tasha wasted no time in heading out to the far part of the yard to start exploring while Boris was all about greeting the rest of the group. He went running around checking on what everyone was up to. It wasn't long before he was off racing around with Finnigan, Bella, Lipp, and Autumn. They all eventually needed a bit of a break so Boris went off to do a little exploring. He then became aware of the Bella and the pool. Boris hopped in and got his feet wet before leaping out and running off to check out more of the yard. Tasha was still enjoying exploring in the far part of the yard, when she found herself being joined by first Bella and then Finnigan. Boris noticed Finnigan with his mom and went bouncing over to see about getting Finnigan running once more. He didn't have much luck and so ran off to explore a different part of the yard. Needing to run more, Boris went back to Lipp and Autumn. Soon the three of them were having a great time playing on and around the tunnel. It also wasn't long before Finnigan, Bella, and Tasha made their ways over to see what was going. Tasha finally noticed Autumn and immediately liked her. She started to bounce around and steal Autumn away so she'd only play with her. Boris took this as a good opportunity to head back to the pool to splash around. It wasn't too long before Finnigan made his way over to join him. Tasha was still having a great time playing Autumn, they were so cute together. It wasn't long before Tasha was feeling a tad warm and went trotting over to the pool and hopped in. Boris saw her and decided it was a good time to cool off and went running over to hop in the pool with Finnigan and Bella. When the other three eventually hopped out Tasha and Autumn hopped back in the pool together.

Bella was practically bursting with energy today. She couldn't wait to get outside and start playing. Almost as soon as Bella got out the door she met up with Finnigan. They went running around together before they met up with Boris, Lipp and Autumn to go tearing around the yard together. After racing around for a while, Bella wanted to cool off and hopped into the pool. She was happy to have the pool to herself, but didn't seem to mind when Boris joined her for a bit. Feeling cooler, Bella hopped out to go and see what Tasha was looking at over in the far part of the yard. Bella left Tasha to do some of her own exploring. She was quick to stop her exploring when Finnigan went running past with a toy. Finnigan then left to go back to running with Boris. Bella decided to do a little more exploring before making her way over to see about joining in. It wasn't long before it was just Bella and Finnigan having fun wrestling and running around together. Finnigan left her to go to the pool, so Bella went to do a little more exploring. When Boris and Finnigan started wrestling and running around, Bella went bouncing over to join in. Soon it was time to cool off in the pool. Bella, Boris, and Finnigan all piled in  together and somehow managed to fit.

Finnigan was running as soon as he stepped foot out the door. He took off to see who all was in his group and was quite pleased with who he saw. Finnigan met up with Bella and it wasn't long before the two of them were running around. The then noticed Autumn and went running over to say hi. The rest of the group had the same idea. This soon resulted in Finnigan, Bella, Boris, Lipp, and Autumn tearing around the yard. Eventually everyone needed a bit of a break to cool down so Finnigan set off to see what was going on around the yard. He spotted Tasha looking at something and decided to go over and join her. Finnigan checked in with her, then checked in with Bella before bouncing off to pick up a rope toy. He then went running around the yard trying to get someone to chase him. Bella took the bait and went chasing after him. Finnigan ended up ditching the toy to go and see about joining Boris, Lipp, and Autumn who were playing by the tunnel. Finnigan ended up splitting off to go and race around by himself he then went running back to see about getting Bella to play with him. A little while later Finnegan spotted Boris hanging out in the pool and went over to investigate. He decided to wait until Boris hopped out of the pool before getting in himself. When Boris started racing around again, Finnigan couldn't resit and went running to join in. Soon they needed to cool off and piled into the pool with Bella.

Max and Sadie were so excited this morning when I walked into the back playroom where they had been patiently waiting for their turn to go on a walk. As soon as they both saw me they started to sing, no longer able to contain their excitement. Max was very good and sat down and waited for me to get Sadie all hooked up before bounding out for me to clip him up too. The door opened and out they went taking a beeline for the gate where they knew interesting things were waiting to be discovered. Max being his happy self took the lead and started searching almost immediately for something cool in the grass. Sadie on the other hand was very calm today and decided to walk beside me where she got plenty of cuddles. They both had lots of fun on their walk and couldn't wait for their turn to go outside and play. Finally the time had arrived and again the excited singing filled the halls, only when they had settled down were they allowed to run out into the yard to meet up with their friends who were already out there. Max went and sniffed around the yard first for a little while before going to look for a partner to play with. Sadie spent some time exploring as well taking the time to bask in the afternoon sun. Everyone was taking it easy on this hot day so Max decided to go bug Sadie to see if she would play with him. Sadie, being the good sister she is, went and played with Max for a while and the two of them ran around the whole yard trying to catch each other. They also found the picnic table interesting so they took turns standing on it to get a better view of the yard. They had lots of fun together and enjoyed their time outside today and I loved sneaking in some cuddles with both of them when they were taking a break from their games.

Kai and I first saw each other this morning when we went for a walk with two other Bernese that are in right now. She was very excited to see her doppelgangers and they all bounced around in greeting before running off to the end of their leashes. Kai was loving the feel of the soft grass on her feet so she decided to roll around in it for fun before continuing on our walk. She loved the warmth of the day and trotted along beside me just watching the long grass blow as we walked by. Sadly our time in the sun had to come to an end and Kai took advantage of this by getting a power nap in so that she could be well rested for group time. The best part of the day finally arrived and it was time to go and play with her friends. She met up with her pals that she walked with before going off to greet some of her other friends that she hadn't seen since yesterday. At first they all walked around exploring together which Kai was very happy with until one of the other dogs wanted to play and they all had to join in. Kai raced after her friend with everyone else following close behind her as they shot through the yard. Things calmed down not long after and Kai decided she would take a nap in the tunnel. She had so much fun playing with her friends today.

Fergus is such a cutie and I couldn't wait to see him this morning when it was time to go outside for group time. He immediately came over for some one on one time with me which he eventually left to go and explore with his friends. He met up with a new dog who was just in for the day and the two became instant friends. Fergus being the silly boy he is started to jump around with her as she ran around him. Eventually everyone was interested in their game so they all joined in which made his friend run in excitement. He obviously had to chase after her so off he went running after the blur that had become his friend as she zoomed by. He had lots of fun chasing after her with everyone but he just couldn't catch her despite his best efforts. When the game was done, Fergus went back to exploring the yard because as he ran by an interesting smell caught his attention. He looked around for a little while before coming over to see me in the shade for some more cuddles. All in all Fergus had a wonderful day full of excitement and lots of cuddles.

Helix was ready to go this morning when I showed up at his kennel with his pal to take them for a walk together. Helix bounded around in excitement and ran out into the hallway before I could clip him to the leash. He ran around his friend in excitement and waited for me to put on his leash so that he could start his adventure. The door flew open and off he went into the vast unknown of the trail that had grass taller than him on each side. Being the brave boy he is he went straight into the long grass to explore what treasures lay hidden beneath them. He found some interesting scents that led further than his leash would allow him to go so instead he joined his friend back on the trail for the rest of the time. When his walk was done it was time to go play with his friends outside in the yard for a little while. He ran around in excitement getting in some exploring just in case someone wanted to play later on. Sadly no one did for a while so he went and continued to explore until something strange caught his eye. Some of his friends were at the pool playing in water that was coming from the hose. He thought that was cool so he left and went to investigate what was going on. Once he got there he tried to sniff the water and ended up getting wet. He thought that was fun but was really more interested in finding someone to play with. Finally he found a playmate and off they went running and jumping around. He certainly was ready for a nap after his fun group time.
