Higgins is really enjoying this warm weather. During one of his outings today he was very interested in all the smells in the short grass. He would pick up a good scent and then roll around in it like crazy. After he finished rolling, he would lay on his back for a couple minutes basking in the sun. It almost looked like he was tanning. He continued doing this for quite some time until he noticed his pal drinking out of the pool. He trotted over to see what was up, and then took a couple slurps of fresh, cold water too. After this he made his way over to the picnic table where he went about his usual business of begging for cuddles and attention. Higgins is such a light, cuddly boy, that he its on my lap rather well. After some scratches and pats he hopped down and spend the remainder of his outdoor time napping in some grass in the shade.

Penny and Pippin are sweet as can be. These girls really love one another, and keep each other great company in the yard. They were very quick to sniff and explore the grass yard, and retreated back to the shade once they got all their exploring done. Both girls weren't too sure of the pool at first, however when I walked away I caught a glimpse of the both of them slowly making their way in to the shallow waters. Penny didn't stay in long at all, but Pippin did a bit of walking around just to cool off, then hopped out and caught up with her sister. When I sat down on the picnic table in the shade, Pippin was so excited to be as close to be as possible. She wiggled her way up onto the table and then stepped on to my lap. She sat on my lap for a while, overseeing her friends exploring, while gladly accepting pats and kisses. After a little bit, Penny got a little jealous and nuzzled her way in between my legs. These girls kept both my hands very busy with constant pets and scratches.

Bella and Jake had such a great walk this morning. I took them around our trail with a new friend, Merida. Merida was very excited to meet these two and made the walk very fast and busy paced. Bella loved walking right by Merida's side, while Jake hung back closer to me. When Merida realized Bella was on her tail she got the zoomies and began darting in circles through the grass. Bella thought this was great fun and tagged right along. I had both leashes looping around me full speed and next thing you know I was all tangled up. Back in the yard, Bella took it pretty easy. She sniffing the yard and said hello to all her friends then was very happy to accept attention from me. Jake, on the other hand, was full of beans. He met up with Flora, a cute jack russell, and these two really hit it off. Jake would dance around her and play bow then dart off with his bum tucked. Flora was more than happy to dance around with him and chase him all around the yard. These two kept one another very busy while I stood backed and watched their shenanigans. After Jake settled down he made his way over to the fresh, cold pool, where he got a drink and cooled his paws off. When it was time to go inside both Bella and Jake were very excited to get into their kennel where their lunch awaited them.

Duke decided to start his morning with a little exploring. He was quick to make his to the closest grassy part and start thoroughly checking it over. When Duke had finished with that he set out to explore more of the yard. Along the way he met up with Glory. They spent some time checking once another over. With that out of the way it was time to play. Duke was quick to jump on Glory and demand that they start wrestling. For the next little while they had a great time wrestling together. Finnigan soon made his way over to see about joining in. The three of them wrestled for a bit, but Finnigan didn't stick around for too long. Soon it was back to just Duke and Glory, though not for long. Next they were visited by Brenyn. Duke tried to keep Glory focused on him, but she very much wanted to play with Brenyn. Duke decided it was a good time to cool of in the pool. Brenyn ended up leaving Glory to go and join Duke in the pool. They had some fun splashing around. Once Duke was feeling cooler he went running back to play with Glory once more.

Ranger made his way out to the agility yard and right over to the tunnel. He spent some time giving it a thorough once over before Ranger wandered off to check out more of the yard. Ranger toured the yard for a while until his curiosity about what the other dogs were up to grew to overwhelming. He made his way over to where the majority of the group were all hanging out. Ranger said his hellos and then he noticed the pool. He hopped right in and waited until the water flowed over his feet. Ranger was happy to get his feet wet and hang out in the pool for a while. Eventually he hopped and wandered off to do some more exploring.

Max and Sadie were excited to be back after a week away. They were quick to run out to the yard and say hello to the rest of the group. Max then went racing out to the far yard to see what was going on out there. Sadie decided to stay in the main yard and give it a more thorough once over. It wasn't long before Sadie and the rest of the group made their way out to join Max. Max was so excited to see everyone that he was went charging around the yard. He then went and pounced on Sadie. Soon the two of them were tearing around the yard together. With the heat they could only race for so long. Max went trotting off to cool down in the pool. Sadie returned to exploring around the yard. Once Max was feeling cooler he went trotting back to the far yard to do a little exploring alongside Sadie. He didn't stay satisfied with exploring long and went racing off with Justice. Their race brought them over to the pool where Kyah was hanging out. Sadie stood their watching them, before eventually deciding to join them. Sadie and Max helped themselves to a drink of water before making their way over to the shady section. Sadie feeling adventurous climbed up onto the little picnic table. Max and Sadie then ran around for a little while longer before once more heading for the pool.
