Boris and Tasha are such sweeties and it’s always so nice to see them when they come in to visit us. Boris contain his excitement this morning when he saw me walk by his kennel so I went to say hi to him and Tasha. Boris came right over and cuddled up to me which made him so happy and then Tasha had to come over and see us for some cuddles too. I had to leave a little while after that for walks. I saw them not long after that when it was time to go out for group time. Tasha was so excited that she bounded out the door with Boris close behind her. They were both surprised when Magic and Justice came out too and they had a big family reunion by running around chasing each other. It was really hot out though so every now and then they would take a break and relax in the pool. Boris spent so much fun splashing around with his big brother and sister while Tasha preferred to sit and watch all her kids before going and jumping in when they all left. Before they went out to play with everyone they had time to practice their skills with Ashley and they both did really well on their walk and with their basic commands. They both had so much fun with their family today and they really enjoyed some of the extra cuddles that they got and all the time they got to spend in the pool.  Kai is such a cutie and I love taking time to spend a few extra minutes with her for some cuddles. I didn’t get to take her for a walk, but I could see from behdind on the trail that she had lots of fun running through the tall grass and smelling all the pretty flowers that were blooming. After walks it was finally time to go and her friends outside. Kai ran out excitedly and greeted everyone before going and exploring around the yard. Her nose led her all over the place until she couldn’t find whatever she could smell so she instead came over to me for some cuddles. She sat right in front of me so I couldn’t move while I pet her until she wanted me to stop. After a while of extra cuddle time her friend came over wanting to play with her so off she went running around with him for the rest of the time. She had a great day playing with her friend, exploring and getting lots of cuddles from me.  Monte, Simon, and Tessa had a nice day. First thing in the morning, the three were more than happy to be going outside for their first outing. Not long after this, it was time for walks. As usual, they all went on a walk together on the trails. By the end of the walk they were pretty tired out but nothing a quick nap couldn't fix. A little while later, they were once again ready to get outside for another group play time. In the yard, Tessa greeted a few friends first thing. She played with her pal Rudy for a bit but for the most part seemed to enjoy exploring on her own today. Simon found a new friend when he went over to sniff the new dog in the group, Lucy. They started to play and chase each other around when he pawed her. They ran around for a while, and their other friend, Monty, joined in as well. Meanwhile, Monte enjoyed spending his time with me. He always seemed to like to be near me and always wanted to come over for a cuddle when I'd sit down. Though, when he wasn't with me, he was lounging around with Tessa. Charlotte and Harvey had an excellent day together. In the morning, they both went out in their group together first thing. They were both a bit quieter on their first outing, since it was early in the morning. Harvey just wandered around, and so did Charlotte. It was then time for walks. Harvey walked with Monty and Charlotte walked with Autumn. A little while later, it was time for their next outdoor play time. At this point Harvey was super excited and jumping all over the place. He ran out the door as Charlotte followed behind him. The first thing Charlotte did outside was sniff around the yard and find herself a bone. She found a nice spot to start chewing on it. Harvey noticed that Charlotte had this yummy bone and wandered over to see what she was doing. He started to leap around at her, and try to grab the bone. This turned into a fun game that both dogs really enjoyed! They were practically rolling around in the grass taking turns trying to keep the bone from the other dog. Harvey loved to swat at Charlotte and chase her around. The fun seemed to be never ending- they were always playing! At the end of their playtime, Harvey cooled off in the pool as Charlotte stood outside and watched. Lucy had a great day. In the morning when she arrived, she got out on a walk as soon as possible. It was so much fun. Then not too long after her walk, it was time for her first outdoor group rotation. When she got out into the yard to meet all of her new friends, she greeted everyone. Her tail was wagging as she smelled and met so many new dogs. She began to play with her new friend Simon after sniffing each other for a while. They burst into a run after Simon pawed Lucy. Their friend Monty joined in as well after seeing how much fun the two dogs were having. When they weren't chasing each other around, Monty and Simon would be sniffing Lucy as she sat and watched them.
