Athena, Aphrodite and Hercules had a lovely day. In the morning, they went on a walk together as soon as they arrived. Athena and Aphrodite paired up, meanwhile Hercules went with his new friend Roxy. Hercules and his pal were walking ahead of the girls, so they were constantly trying to catch up and barked from a distance. A little later, it was the girls' turn to go outside with their group. They were super happy to be going outside, and bounced around a bit as their paws first touched the slushy snow. Although the weather certainly wasn't the best, it didn't seem to stop the girls from enjoying their time outside. Athena seemed to like to stick around the staff more, as she probably could smell the yummy treats in everyone's pockets. Aphrodite was sniffing around the edge of the fence I noticed, and worked her way in to finally end up with Athena again. Not long after that, Hercules went out with his group. His body was wiggling with excitement as he made his way out the door. In the yard, he made great friends with all of his doggy friends. In particular, he really enjoyed spending time with Cabot and Tupper. They both shared the interest of playing fetch with a rope toy. The three boys would get super excited every time I picked the toy up and whipped it across the yard.

Sadie had a fantastic time with her friends today. She began her morning with a walk on the trails with her friends Barley and Bridie. Sadie had such a great time, she got a little over excited and started pouncing at Barley. Luckily for her, outdoor playtime was right after her walk. With a burst of energy, she ran through the door and outside to greet her friends. They all happily sniffed each other, and then the playing began. Sadie first played with Sam, they were pouncing and jumping all over each other. After chasing each other around the yard for a bit, Sadie made her way over to Roxy. They began to run around together and stopped every once in a while to jump around.

Apple and Sky had a nice day. They started their day off with a walk on the trails together along with their friend Mac. Sky was a little hesitant to go out in the rain at first, but after bundling up in his jacket he was good to go. Apple led the walk, and she seemed to point out every scent that interested her to Sky. They would both spend a bit of time sniffing together before continuing on. Shortly after, they went out for their outdoor play. Once again, Sky was a little hesitant to go out until he was bundled up. Apple seemed a little more excited to play in the slush. Once they were both outside, they were exploring around the yard together. When they were in the playroom I could tell that they were relieved to be cozy inside again, and they came over to cuddle up to me.

Pearl and Lola had a great day. In the morning, the girls braved a chilly walk in the rain. Although they seemed to have an enjoyable time considering they were with their pal Miko. It wasn't too long after their walk that it was time for their group to go outside. Pearl was pretty excited while Lola calmly followed behind her. Outside, Pearl pounced around in the snow and enjoyed exploring the holes made in the snow already. Lola was just relaxing and followed me around a bit. I gave both girls lots of cuddles!

Miko had a great time in the snow today. In the morning, he went on a walk as soon as he came in. He walked with his friends, Pearl and Lola. Miko seemed to enjoy the snow a lot. When it was time for his outdoor play, the first thing he did was pounce through the snow. He looked super silly! He burned off a bunch of energy doing all that running around. So he came over to me and got some cuddles. After a few minutes, he suddenly burst into a run again and was pouncing through the snow from one end of the yard to the other. He looked like he was having so much fun.

Bruno had a great time with friends today. As usual, he was super excited to go for his walk in the morning. After letting a few little whimpers of excitement, he was suited up and ready to go out in the chilly rain. He seemed to enjoy it either way, and was hopping around in the wet snow. After having such a great time on his walk, that made him even more excited to go outside for play time. Outside, he was greeting every friend in sight! He also would go from one of his friends then over to me and back to another friend. He enjoyed running around, and even rolled around in the slush. After that point I think he got a bit chilly and was ready to go inside. Luckily for him, the warm and cozy playroom was the perfect place to dry off.

Nanook had an awesome day. The cold and rainy snowy weather was perfect in Nanook's eyes- he was super excited to go outside at any chance. When getting ready for the morning walk, Nanook was basically bouncing off the walls in excitement. He walked with his pal Xiao Boa, and they had a good time! A little later on, Nanook was anticipating going outside with his group. He ran right out the door when it was time. Outside, he was scurrying around like crazy. He would run at super fast speeds from one end of the yard to the other. His favourite thing to do seemed to be find a patch of snow to roll in. Then he would stick his nose into the snow. Although being outside was great for Nanook, he also enjoyed coming in and curling into bed to warm up.

Kouza had a wonderful day. In the morning, she was happy to go on her one on one walk with one of the staff members. She loves all of the attention she gets and being able to go at her own pace, especially in this chilly weather. When it was time for her to go outside for playtime with her group, she wanted to play like usual. I told her to find a toy for me to throw, and she ran off to search the yard. Not too long after she came back with a little rope toy and started barking. We spent the time outside playing fetch.

Monte, Simon and Tessa enjoyed their day together. In the morning, they harnessed up to go on a walk in the trails together. Simon was extremely excited and kept letting me know by letting out little barks, meanwhile Monte and Tessa wagged their tails. They all had a great walk together! A little while later, the trio was ready to go outside again for their playtime. When they got outside, they were super excited to greet all their doggy friends. After that, I noticed they stuck together in the yard. While exploring around, they followed each other in a line. Monte led them, followed by Simon, then Tessa. They also played together outside, occasionally running around with Nanook as well.

Xiao Boa made the most of this chilly day. He bundled up for his walk in the morning with Nanook, and had a good time with his pal even though it was not the best weather. Later on when it was time for him to go outside, he happily explored the yard for a while. Wandering around in the wet snow after a while got him a bit chilly, so he came right over to me for some cuddles. I picked him up and he enjoyed getting cozy.

Molly was super playful today. In the morning, she had a great walk on the trails with her friends Bluebell and Sam. She loved pouncing through the banks of snow along the path. Later on, her tail whipped back and forth as she was very excited to see all of her friends outside for play time. First thing she did was find a toy to play with. Buried in the snow a bit, she pulled out a rope toy. This automatically became a favourite to her. She carried it around until she decided she wanted to play fetch, and that's when she came over to me and put the rope at my feet. I picked it up and she prepared to run. When I threw it, she burst into a run after it. We continued to play fetch until she was completely tired out. At that point, she found a comfortable spot to lie down and chew on the toy.

Boris and Tasha had lots of fun today. In the morning, they enjoyed a walk on the trails with each other along with Brokk. The huskies absolutely love being in the snow, so trekking through the trails was no problem for them. When it was time for Boris and Tasha to go outside with their group, they were quite excited. When they got outside, Boris was almost immediately playing with Magic. It started by Boris running straight in Magic's direction, so Magic started running. This turned into a game of chase! They stopped running to pounce and jump all over each other. They even stopped quickly to pose for a picture. Boris and Tasha make the best of friends! Meanwhile, Tasha enjoyed a more relaxing day, and just wandered around the yard calmly. She sniffed around the fence and rocks. Tasha enjoyed some cuddles when she came over to me.

Sophie and Charlotte enjoyed their day. In the morning, they went on a walk with their friend Glory and all enjoyed walking through the snow. Though the walk was fun, Sophie was very happy to be inside and curled up in her bed. Not long after going on the walk, it was time for the girls group to go outside. When outside, Charlotte was really excited to run around with her friends. She immediately started playing with her friend Barley. They were racing around the yard together. Charlotte kept swiftly switching directions to throw Barley off. He made a good recovery and continued chasing. Meanwhile, Sophie enjoyed cuddles from me. She stood right beside me and enjoyed getting her back scratched. She even came under my poncho to keep herself dry from the rain.

Bluebell had a great day! In the morning, I could tell that she was anticipating her walk. She went with Molly and Sam. The three dogs enjoyed trekking their way through the wet snowy trails. Although they enjoyed their walk, it was also nice to come inside and get dried off and warm. Not long after her walk, it was time for Bluebell's group to go outside. She happily ran out the door and started greeting her friends outside. After greeting her friends, she ran over to me and pounced, then ran off again. She did this a few times. Then, she ran off with some of her doggy friends. After all that running, she was pretty tired out. She spent the rest of her time exploring the yard.
