Mylo wasn't quite sure what he wanted to do when he first made his way outside for group time. Eventually he decided to put his nose to the ground and set off in search of all the interesting scents. Mylo followed along the fence line determined to not miss anything. His attention was then captured by the antics of some of the other dogs. Mylo stood watching them for a bit, but soon had his nose back to the ground. He decided to double check the fence line and headed back the way he'd come. Mylo ended up meeting up with Maya. They spent some time saying hi. He then noticed Teetu laying in the snow. Curious, Mylo made his way over to see what Teetu was up to. It was pretty cute to watch Mylo check Teetu over as Teetu then plopped over on his side. Done with Teetu, Mylo made his way over to check out the tunnel. While he was there Windy went running over. She then went running through the tunnel, which left Mylo looking at it in confusion trying to figure out where she went. When Windy appeared at the other end, he trotted to the other opening and had a look through the tunnel. Mylo left the tunnel and Windy to go and do some more exploring.  Eventually he made his way over to me. Mylo sat himself in front of me and we just hung out for a while.

Benji made his way out the door to the yard. Barely a foot into the yard his attention was caught by something in the snow. Benji spent some time giving it a through once over. When he finished with the interesting smells his attention was then captured by the antics of some of the other dogs. Benji then started to make his way out further into the yard. He hadn't made it very far when he found himself almost run over by Samson and Miko. When they had cleared the way Benji went to see one of the puppies and Julie. It wasn't long before Finlay and Olive went over to join them. When Finlay and Olive went running off Benji decided to tag along after them. He split off to do his own thing shortly after. Benji headed out to do a tour of the far yard. When nothing seemed overly exciting he went trotting back out to the main yard. He was happy to see the other dogs still hanging out by the door. Benji's attention was caught by Miko and Samson playing once more and decided to head over and see about maybe joining in. In the end Benji decided to go and see what Finlay was up to. He spent some time playing with him.

Newt couldn't wait to head outside for group time. She went trotting off to see what some of the others were up to. Newt went trotting past Timber, two seconds after that she found herself being followed. Timber was quite enamored with Newt and stuck close to her side. She didn't seem to mind and seemed to like him a lot as well. Newt started to bounce around him which got Timber all excited, but he's an old man and can only bounce so much. Since Newt isn't supposed to play too hard, it worked well. Newt then decided to head out to the far yard and see what was going on out there, with Timber tagging along. Her attention as soon caught by Miko, who was rolling around on the snow. She checked him over then Miko went running off. I think Newt would have chased after him, but she was stopped by Merlin. She turned her full focus on Merlin and gave him a thorough once over. When he went trotting off back to the main yard Newt decided to follow him. They ended up meeting up with a good chunk of the group so she went around saying hi and seeing what all was going on. After Newt was done checking on all the dogs she made her way over to me for some pets and attention.

Olive and Finlay were bursting with energy and so excited to get outside. They went racing out the door then quickly came racing back to demand some attention from me. That done Olive and Finlay went running off to see what the other dogs were up to. They stopped first at Newt and Timber. The puppies and Benji caught their eyes next and so they back tracked to go see them. Finlay then took off running to the far yard. Olive went running after him, but when she got to the gate she decided she'd rather stay in the main yard. I spent some time with her giving her love and attention, which she seemed quite happy to get. In the far yard Finlay went running around trying to see what everyone was up to. He noticed Miko rolling around in the snow and went over to check it out then came racing over to me to demand love. Not wanting to stay away from Olive long, Finlay went racing back to the main yard. He pounced on his sister and started slathering her in kisses. It wasn't long before the two of them started to wrestle. Finlay then left Olive once more to go and see one of the puppies. He tried the licking thing on them, but they were less receptive. When the puppies wouldn't play with him Finlay decided to go and see what Miko and Coco were up to in the far yard. Olive was happy to stay in the main yard with the rest of the group. Olive and Finlay spent some quality time with Alyssa in the reception area after groups this afternoon. Even after a full day, Finlay and Olive were ready to play! They bounced back and forth between pets from Alyssa and playing with the light up green ball. They're such a fun pair.

Merlin wasted no time in putting his nose to the ground and setting off in search of something interesting. He made his way all around the main yard ignoring the other dogs for now. Once Merlin had gone all over the main yard he made his way out to the far yard to continue on exploring. Eventually he did lift his nose up enough to notice that there were other dogs out with him. Merlin noticed Coco checking something out in the snow and decided to go and see what it was. With that done, he then made his way over to the picnic table. Merlin gave it a very thorough once over. His attention was then captured by Rose. Merlin went trotting over and immediately started sniffing Rose all over. He seemed to find her fascinating and tagged along after her, all the while still sniffing her. Merlin then found himself face to face with Newt. They spent some time checking each other out. Merlin then decided to make his way back to the main yard and see what the other dogs were up to. Newt and Timber tagged along after him. Merlin went around saying hi to the rest of the group then decided to head out and do some more exploring. He eventually took a break and decided to make his way over to me for some pets. That done Merlin headed back out to do some more exploring. His plans were interrupted when he noticed the puppy. Merlin went and checked her out, then decided to continue on as he had planned. He soon found himself with Ayla as a tag-a-long.

Miko went tearing off around the yard. He started to make his way to the far yard but decided to head back to the door where some of the others still were. Miko met up Samson and gave him a once over. He then decided he'd rather like to play with him. They bounced around for a bit. The two of them weren't paying too much attention to where they were going and almost took out Benji. Miko and Samson then decided to head to a less congested area to continue playing. He then decided to leave Samson to go and check out the far yard and the beagles. After that he went running around following his nose. This soon lead Miko to a good rolling spot. He didn't so much roll as just rub his face and shoulder against the snow, but he seemed to be having a great time so I left him to it. Miko caught the eye of Finlay who went over to see what he as up to. It wasn't long before Newt made her way over as well, followed by Timber. Miko finished with his rolling and decided to go see what was going on back in the main yard. He spent some time with Finlay and Olive before he spotted Samson. Miko went bouncing over to him hoping to play some more. They bounced around for bit then Miko went running off once more to check out more things. He had a puppy tagging along after him for a little while, which Miko didn't seem to mind. He checked a few more dogs, did some more rolling, before heading out to explore with Coco.

Max and Sadie were so excited to get outside for their group time. As soon as they got out the door Sadie's nose hit the ground and all she cared about was whatever she was smelling. Max was bursting with energy and desperately wanted to play with Sadie. To pass the time while she explored he went running back and forth between Sadie and myself. Max occasionally feigned a pounce at Sadie trying to get her to chase him. It took a little while, but eventually Max left Sadie to her exploring and went running out to the far yard. He took in his bearings and checked out the tunnel. Max then turned to stare at Sadie back in the main yard. This apparently worked at getting her running, Sadie left her exploring and went charging out to Max. The two of them took off racing around the yard at top speeds. It didn't last overly long as Sadie was soon distracted by something in the snow. Max decided to do a little exploring with her. Since he can only focus for so long he alternated between running to get pets from me and exploring with Sadie. Eventually Sadie couldn't stand not getting any pets of her own and made her way over to me for some love. Along the way she was detained by Max, who tackled her. The two of them then took of bouncing and wrestling. Eventually Max and Sadie switched to racing around the yard. With the majority of their energy burned off they decided to come over for some pets and attention from me.

Tanner set out to do a little exploring when we first headed outside for group time. After a quick tour of the main yard he made his way to the far yard to continue on exploring. Tanner soon found himself joined by Mika. He didn't seem to mind the company and the two of them went around with their noses to the snow. Tanner remembered I was around and came trotting over to demand some love. After he'd had enough pets he went off to meet back up with Mika. They set out to do some more exploring together. Mika then decided to make her way to the main yard, Tanner having already gone over it decided to stay in the far yard. He continued checking out things in the snow before making his way over to the tunnel. With the tunnel thoroughly checked over Tanner had looked at everything in the far yard. Mika had re-entered the far yard so Tanner went over to see if she might want to play. They bounced around for a bit, but soon Tanner found his way over to me for some butt scratches. A little while later Tanner and Mika were hit with the need to play, but instead of playing with each other they were determined to play with me. They started to bounce around me while Tanner through in some howls.

Storm had a blast today! He couldn’t decide which dog he wanted to play with more, so he played with everyone throughout his time outside. At first he played with Justice and Magic. These three played a game of chase around the small fenced in area to start, with Storm behind Justice and Magic behind him. After playing with these two, Storm met Boris in the yard. Boris and Storm wrestled around, but Storm grew tired of playing and decided to take a break. He made his rounds across the yard, stopping to smell anything different from this morning. Storm eventually ran into Tasha, Boris’ mum. Storm was instantly a fan of Tasha, and tried to get her to play. Tasha was a little busy sniffing the yard but she made the exception for Storm and played with him for a bit. Storm had lots of fun in the yard today, and enjoyed having this big husky group with him all day!

Mocha was being very flirty in the yard today! She and Koda spent quite a bit of time together. At first, she was hanging out by the door but I made her come more into the yard and she was happy that I did! She went up to Koda and gave him a good sniff, and then she started to wag her tail so fast. Koda first walked away from Mocha, but she persisted and he realized that she wanted to play. He went into a playful stance and then Mocha mirrored him. She bounced up at him and then danced around each other. Mocha was standing very tall, with her tail waving back and forth. She was having so much fun with her new friend. Issy had a good day too. She was more relaxed outside, enjoying the breeze going through the yard and making sure to sniff everything she possibly could. I stopped to cuddle her in the yard. At first she wasn’t in the mood for some attention, but I coaxed her and pulled her into my side and cuddled her while I rubber her ears and massage her head. She loved getting a little massage and relaxed enough so that she was leaning on my lap. We sat there together for a while, and when it was time to go inside, Issy bolted for the door and got there first. She headed straight for the kitchen where it was nice and warm. Her and Mocha cozied up in their favorite spots and took a nap. They napped until everyone went for lunch and then these ladies were on their feet. Tayler made sure they both got a little treat at lunchtime.

Boris and Tasha both had a great day. Both Boris and Tasha ran into the yard and began to pick out the interesting scents before moving on to say hello to the rest of the gang. Boris first started to play with Koda. These two handsome gentlemen wrestled around for a few moments and then quickly changed pace and began chasing Justice around. They did laps around the small fenced in area, each time switching direction around. While the boys were running around, Tasha continued to explore. She spent quite a bit of time sniffing the agility tunnel. It was half buried in the snow, and she peeked down inside of it for a second. I encouraged her to go through but she was otherwise disinterested and made her way over to Magic. She wandered for a bit, and I later found her near the door, hanging out with Sky and Merida. I encouraged the ladies to rejoin their group in the yard and Tasha suddenly got a burst of energy and pounced right onto Koda’s back. He turned around and found Tasha standing there with her bum in the air, ready to play. Koda happily accepted and these two played around for a while. Boris then took a turn wandering the yard. He stopped to sniff the spot where the grass was finally coming back from the snow melting, and he had his nose glued to the ground. Storm came and joined him and it ended up these two playing together. They eventually got a little too rowdy and parted ways but Boris still enjoyed playing together. Boris and Tasha then regrouped in their kennel and Tasha leaped on Boris, excited to tell him about her fun time outside.

It was another great day for Max E. in the yard. He was instantly on the hunt for a toy when he entered the yard. His toy of choice today was a brown and white rope. He carried it everywhere he went. Nyxx and Cooper also really wanted the toy, but Max had already claimed it as his own. Cooper went up to Max to see if he could have it, but Max turned away from Cooper and ran behind me, making sure I would protect his toy for him. Cooper went and found an orange toy while Max and I played tug-of-war with his rope. He tugged and then I did and when he eventually let go, I threw it across the yard. This time, Nyxx got to it first and held it in his mouth. Max chased after Nyxx and they played a game of keep away for a while. Nyxx let Max grab the rope at the other end, but didn’t let go of his. They both tugged at each end for a few minutes, and eventually Max came out as the winner! He and I played with the rope for the rest of his outing. He wanted to stay outside so bad that the only way to get him in was to make him chase me while I carried the rope toy inside!

Henry is such a loving boy. When he wasn’t chasing Dexter around the yard, he was leaping on my lap and butting into me, eager for some love and attention. I am always happy to cuddle with Henry because he is such a good boy!! I sat down on the ground and Henry jumped right on me, tackling me to the ground so that he could cover me with kisses. I sat up and he planted his bum right on me, sitting there while I stroked his back and head. He kept whipping his head backwards, and each time he would nudge me with his nose and give me a few kisses. One time we butted heads and it was like he felt sorry because he nudged me with his nose very gently and started licking my hand. He settled down a little bit a few minutes after that and I went to pick him up to cuddle him and he leaped right off of me and took off across the yard to run around with Dexter more. He is so full of energy!

Dexter had a case of the zoomies in the yard today! He was being so quick that none of his friends could catch him out there! He met Percy and Oscar today in the yard and Percy was instantly obsessed with Dexter. He chased him around for the longest time. Dexter kept ripping in and out of the agility yard, each time taking three dogs behind him. They all came around the corner at the same time and each time they came, Dexter ended up jumping over me, or one of the other dogs because he was running at full tilt. He and Percy couldn’t get enough of each other. Sometimes when Dexter would stop running, Percy and Henry would go running into the side of Dexter and they would start an actual dog pile. This then got Dexter back up on his paws and start another big game of chase. Just as it was time to go in, Dexter came up to me for some quick cuddles, and he sat his bottom down onto my lap for some attention.

Olive is so cute! She is always so sweet and would never turn down an opportunity to get some love and cuddles, inside or outdoors. During her group today, Olive was accompanied by her usual friends, with the addition of Percy. Olive was all about the cuddles today for most of the time. She stood right in front of my legs the whole time, wagging her tail between my legs and demanding a good back rub. She would look back at me every couple of seconds with a big smile on her face. I crouched down with her after a couple minutes, and rubbed her ears, which she loved. She leaned right into my hand and sat down. After she was satisfied with her massage, she ventured off to see what everyone else was doing. Olive decided to play with some of her friends, and began with Oscar, who had taken a liking to Olive. Olive kept putting her paws onto Oscar’s back and then bouncing off of him. Oscar would then leap back at Olive and she would play-bow to him. They played like this for a while and then Dexter came and knocked into Olive and then Olive switched to chasing Dexter around. Percy was also chasing Dexter so she and Percy were running side by side, bumping into each other as they went.

Dani had a great first day with us! She started her morning with a nice walk on the back trail. She was accompanied by two of her friends, and she loved getting to go out and sniff all the trees and the path. Later on, she went outside for her group time and made even more friends! She explored the yard to begin with, making sure to not miss a single rock or toy. She introduced herself to Molly and Henry, two golden retrievers. Dani was so happy to play with Henry. Both these youngsters chased each other around and were very flirty with each other. Every time she wanted him to play, Dani pawed at Henry and then they would start to prance around. Dani eventually went back to exploring after she finished playing. She especially took interest in the tunnel. The inside of the tunnel is completely empty, the the entrance is half hurried in the snow, and I saw Dani contemplating whether to go in or not. She eventually opted out of it and I went over to her just as she was walking away to give her some cuddles. We sat together for a few minutes before heading outside. Dani went out a few more times during the day and enjoyed her self each time! We are all looking forward to another great day with this gal.

Percy had a great day today! He started his morning with a walk on the back trail, with his good friends Issy and Mocha. He met some new friends later on in the morning during his group time.  His new favorite friend was Henry the Golden retriever. He barked at Henry for the first little while, and then these two played for most of the time they were outside. Percy did stop to meet some other new friends, including Olive and Dexter. He also really loved Dexter, who loves to run around the yard. Percy was excited to chase Dexter around the yard. He wasn’t looking forward to coming inside at the end of groups because he wanted to play with his friends.
