Titan had a great walk accompanied by two bloodhounds, Duke and Adele. Titan loves walking with these two. He often finds himself bouncing around with Duke, or sniffing right by Adele’s side. George enjoyed a slower stroll with one of his senior friends, Merlin. They got to wander around the back field, sniffing and exploring through the grass and flowers. George and Titan were very happy to head up front for their extra attention this morning.  The pair was keen to zoom around, as all the doors were open. George was very quick to find his favourite chair and get to cuddling with his friend Syarah. Titan was way to occupied with all the freedom to settle down and enjoy cuddles. Titan zoomed in and out of the playroom and kitchen then began running up and down the halls. After he got all of his exploring done, he made his way to my side for some love and attention. George and Titan were happy to settle down in the kitchen where they cuddled with me on a cot, and received numerous cookies. These two are like little land sharks when accepting treats. They both are both very chompy, and excellent and snatching them when I toss them in the air. In the yard today George and Titan were pretty mellow. They enjoyed sniffing and exploring with their friends as well as wading around in the shallow pool. I love hanging out with these two as they always have big friendly smiles on their faces.

Keeva started her day off by enjoying a stroll along our trail with two of her friends. Keeva tends to lead the group by marching as far ahead as possible. In the yard today she was pretty relaxed at first. She spend a good portion of her outdoor time sniffing the yard and exploring. Keeva made sure to meet up with all of the other dogs to say her hellos while wandering around the yard. After Keeva investigated the property she made her way to my side where she nuzzled her head into my leg asking for some pets. She was pleased to receive some good ears scratches. After she got her cuddling in she darted off to find a good toy. It didn’t surprise me when she picked up the deflated soccer ball that she was goofing around with the other day. She came dashing back to me, shaking it around in her mouth. She was keen to drop it at my feet today and get a game of fetch going. We played numerous rounds of fetch, alternating between throwing it and booting it across the yard. Keeva looks like a deer bounding across a field when she runs after the toy. Right before it was time to come in she briefly dipped her paws in the pool to cool off. Keeva was happy to head out in the sunshine this afternoon for her second walk. She put her nose to the ground and sniffed along the trail for a while. As we made it back to the end of our route, Keeva turned around and started bouncing up and down in front of me. We stopped on the trail for a few minutes for some head and ear scratches. Keeva has such a lovely smiling face, how could anyone resist spending extra time with her!

Egan was so full of beans today! He bolted out the door and into the yard and instantly began bouncing around the yard looking for a pal to play with. A couple of his friends briefly showed interest, but Egan wanted more. He began zooming around with his nose to the ground looking for a good toy. He was thrilled when he came across a big blue Frisbee. After pawing at it and trying to nudge it off the ground he grasped it in his mouth and came prancing over to me. We had the brief debate of wanting it thrown, but not wanting to drop it, however he gave in fairly quickly. Egan’s eyes lit up when I threw it and it went soaring across the yard. He sprinted after it and was quick to snatch it up and bring it back to me. We played a couple rounds of fetch before he decided to play tug. Egan is very strong and ended up winning. He then walked around the yard with the Frisbee in his mouth showing it off as if he had won a big prize. To cool himself off after all his running he hopped in the pool and splashed around. He was very happy to then motor off after a playmate Keeva who had a toy in her mouth too. Keeva dropped the toy to sniff Egan, and he was quick to snatch it and take off. He was then marching around, proud as could be, of his new finding.

Boris and Tasha were thrilled to be here for their Friday daycare. I had a bit of a laugh watching these two walks with Nymeria. The three of them together sure made for one handful. Susan handled it with a smile on her face, of course. Tasha seemed a little more laid back on the walk while Nymeria and Boris were their usual busy selfes. In the yard today it didn’t take long at all for Boris and Nymeria to meet up. It started off with some serious flirting. Boris is such a flirt! He was bum bumping Nymeria and then pawing at her side. I called him and he came over to me like a good boy, however Nymeria followed, asking for more. These two then began to dance around one another with their bums high in the air and their tails wagging at high speeds. It didn’t take long for Isis and Magic to spot the party and immediately crash it. They both came running over and leapt right in between Nymeria and Boris, ensuring to end the fun before it started. Magic loves when all the attention is on her, so she insisted on being involved. Both Boris and Nymeria weren’t bothered one bit; rather they were pleased to have more pals to play with. Next thing I knew, all 7 huskies were in one big swarm leaping and bouncing on one another. AS usual, Tasha stood back at first, supervising the games. As soon as she noticed her two children acting like hooligans, she intervened. With one swift, big, leap, she got Boris off of Nymeria and Magic by pouncing right on him. Boris took this as an invitation to play and began mouthing at Tasha. Tasha didn’t want any of it, so she bolted through the tunnel to get away. Of course this just got Boris, Magic, Nymeria, Isis, and Justice even more riled up. Kyah was wandered on top of the tunnel, which got Nymerias interest as their friend was all running around on the inside. I had a good laugh seeing the two red siblings on top of the tunnel while the grey and black siblings were inside the tunnel. After all the shenanigans calmed down they all head to the pool to cool off. IT didn’t take long for the games to get going again and the sprinting and chasing to commence. These 7 huskies made for one eventful playgroup, that’s for sure! They were all very happy to get back to their kennels where they could all snooze until their next outing.

Louis had a great day today. He was such a good boy for the groomer who gave him another pawdicure. He was an absolute angel and loved hanging out in the groom room with Bailey, the cairn terrier. Despite their difference in size, they really enjoyed one another's company. When it was time to head outside today for afternoon groups it took a little bit of convincing to get Louis off his big, comfy, bed. I head into his kennel and he looked at me then rolled onto his side and let out a big sigh. After some convincing pets he made his way out of his kennel, down the hall, and out the door. He made his way into the agility yard where he then stretched his big body out followed by a big yawn. After this he put his nose to the ground and it remained there for practically the entire remainder of outdoor time. Every once in a while Louis would make his way over to the kiddy pool where he would wade around to cool off, then hop out. When he head back to his kennel it didn't take long for him to find a comfy position on his big bed and have another snooze.

Fitz steals my heart every time he visits us. His pleasant demenor and lovely looks make his company wonderful. We started our morning off with a nice walk along our trail accompanied by two friends Keeva and Luna. Fitz had his nose in the grass the entire walk and wasn't too focused on being at the head of the group. Futz was very happy wandering along behind me checking out all the flowers and plants and scents that come along with them. As our walk was coming to an end, Fitz met up with Luna, another lovely golden retriever. He followed her closely before rushing to her size and giving her a kiss on the face. Luna was pleased to have an admirer and Fitz seemed content to have her next to him. When group time rolled around Fitz was ready to head out into the yard and explore. He was thrilled to see the gate to the agility yard open. He instantly motored through gate and began sniffing and exploring. As he passed other dogs he would politely greet them, and would then return to sniffing. He spent the remainder of his time in the yard getting familiar with all the smells and surroundings.

Ranger and Piper came in this morning for boarding and were a little nervous at first. I went to say hi to them in their kennel to say a proper hello since they seemed to be very shy, and as I began to pet them they laid down on their cots to relax. When I was letting them outside for their group this morning they ran straight out of their kennel and out the door. They were both so eager to get into the yard to meet all of the other dogs. At first they were unsure about a lot of the dogs that ran over to them right away to sniff them. Ranger said his polite hellos while Piper stood by his side and watched. Whenever a dog ran over to Piper to greet her and say hello she would give them a quick sniff and then move to Ranger's other side. As I was crouching down she went between my legs and curled up into my lap for cuddles. She seemed to have opened up to me a lot but not with the other dogs just yet. Ranger finished his greetings and made his way back over to see how Piper was doing. These two stuck together most of the time when they were in the yard. After they were done meeting the dogs they began to sniff around the gravel yard together and watched as all of the more playful dogs ran into the grass yard to play with each other. When I walked into the grass yard I called them both over to me to come and join in with the others. Piper ran straight to me while Ranger took his time as he continued sniffing the grass on the way. One dog in particular really liked Ranger and was jumping around him to try and get him to play. Ranger wasn’t too sure about running around with him just yet but stayed near him and let him have his fun as he stood there. Piper began to open up more and went to go sniff some of the dogs when they weren’t looking and when the other dog would turn around, Piper would too. This pair had a good first day meeting everyone!

Luna and Teddy were being so unbelievably playful out in the yard today. Luna has been doing so well here during her stay so far and has been so much fun out in the yard. Teddy came in for daycare today and was his usual playful self. He seemed to really enjoy Luna’s company and these two made a great playful duo in their group along with some of the other dogs that jumped in to join their shenanigans every once in a while. When they first went out into the yard they were being super friendly to all of the other dogs and ran over to them to say hello. Teddy seemed to be very interested in Piper and tried to go over to say hello and play with her but she wasn't quite ready to play just yet. Luna ran through the crowd of dogs and sniffed everyone quickly. She wasn’t too interested in socializing as much as she was playing and once Teddy ran up to her she play bowed immediately as she let out a huge bark to let him know that she wanted to play tag. Teddy bounced around her in circles and began to bark as well. He was getting excited that she wanted to play with him. He ran as fast as he could into the grass yard as Luna and some of the other more playful dogs chased after him. Luna was doing her best to keep up with this speedy boy but he was so hard to catch since he’d take shortcuts and jump over the agility tunnel as they were playing tag. Luna would run around the tunnel and catch up to him and once she did these two started to wrestle around the grass. Every time Luna caught up to Teddy she would pounce right on top of him but he hopped right back up and took off every time. Luna then started to wrestle with another dog as Teddy was the referee and ran around them in circles as he barked at them playfully. Once they were both super tired from all the playing they both took a break and walked over to the pool to take a sip of water. Luna ran over to me with her tongue hanging right out of her mouth as she gave me some kisses as Teddy went to go socialize some more with the others. During Luna’s extra attention this morning I brought her over to the lounge to have some one on one time with me. On the way over she was being super curious out in the grass and wandered around so smell everything in sight. Once we got in the lounge her curiosity didn’t end there and she began to wander around the room to sniff everything that she saw. She ran over to each of the toys at first to smell them then came over to me to sniff the couch. I got her to sit up on the couch with me which she was so happy about she sat with me as I gave her lots of cuddles. She was being so affectionate and gave me so many kisses as well. Once she jumped back down she began to play bow to me so I did it right back to her and got her running around the room,.I picked up a toy and she was watching it as I waved it in the air going back and forth. Once I through it she ran straight towards it and gave it a sniff the wiggled herself back over to me for more cuddles.

Finlay and Olive are absolutely adorable together when they are here. Finlay always loves to play with just about anybody when he's out in the yard, especially Olive. When I was letting them out of their kennel Finlay didn't wait a second before he jumped right on to Olive in the hallway. He began to prance around her which got Olive excited as she jumped on him back. When they got outside he kept on going and chased Olive around the door at first. Olive was playing back but not for too long because she wanted to go and explore along the fence. She sniffed along the rocks and poked at the leaves that grew through the holes in the fence, then Olive made her way to the middle of the yard where she began to explore around the gravel. Since Olive stopped playing around with Finlay he began to run around to find his next play mate, and of course it was one of the husky puppies that were in his group. He loves to play with the puppies since they have just as much energy as he does. Finlay ran straight over to Lola and began to bounce around her the same way he did to Olive. She wasn't in a playful mood at first but once he started to get her attention she couldn't help but to join in with him and they began to run around together. Olive made her way around the yard and decided to take a dip in the pool. She walked up to it and began to sniff around it at first and as she was doing this Finlay ran up behind her and jumped right in. After she saw how brave Finlay was to do that she decided to go in on her own and jumped right in with him. The two stood in the pool for a while to cool off and once they were done jumped back out to socialize. Even though Finlay loves playing with the other dogs he always goes back to Olive every once in a while to give her lots of kisses and tries to get her to play again. Olive and Finlay were so full of beans today that I took them for an extra walk for their extra attention time. These two little jumping beans were excited to get out on the trail for the second time today. They sniffed along in the grass as we walked until Finlay decided that it was time to play! He started giving Olive lots of kisses, which then turned into a rolling wrestling match. We made our way all the way around the field with intermittent spurts of play.

Lola had such a fun day out in the yard today with her brother and other pal Vega. These three can get into so much mischief sometimes whenever they're together and today they had such a nice time out in the yard with everyone. Lola is always by her brother Joe's side outside and when she first got out into the yard these two began to sniff around the door while all the other dogs were coming out to join them. She sniffed all along the building until she reached the end where she began to be intrigued by the gravel. Lola started to dig her nose into it then instead of using her nose she broke out her paws and began to dig. By the time she was done and lifted her face it was all covered in mud and she was trying to lick it off so brought her over to the pool and sat her next to it. Whether she knew I wanted her to go in the water or not she jumped right in on her own to clean up and splashed around the water. Some of the others joined in with her but she didn't stay in it too long and jumped back out to run around. As she was trotting back to the door with Joe, Finlay decided to run up behind her and jump up on her back playfully to try and get her attention. She started to run ahead to get away from him so he chased after her to catch up. Once he reached her he began to bounce around her and try to get her to play. At first she wasn't sure she wanted to but she gave in and began to roll around on the ground as he pawed at her. These two wrestled around by the door for a bit before it was time to go back inside.

Jock and Abbie came in this morning for daycare and as they were making their way down the hall they seemed to be so curious of everything. Jock ran into the kitchen to snoop around as Abbie made her way into the playroom. They love to explore and it doesn't matter where they are, they'll always find something to sniff. Once they went outside for their group this morning Abbie and Jock took off into the yard to go and explore. They made their way all the way into the grass yard at first and started their journey there. Jock started to explore along the rocks by the fence as Abbie wandered into the middle of the grass to snoop around. She walked over to the big hole that some of the dogs dug and started to stick her head in it to take a look around. After Jock was finished smelling along the fence he trotted over to Abbie to say hi then they made there way back to the gravel yard to see the other dogs. As the dogs walked over to them to say hi both Jock and Abbie stood there and let them sniff them and then they made there way back to the door to hang out. Abbie decided to relax and lay in the sun while Jock walked over to the shade to cool down. He didn't seem so interested in going in the pool and getting wet and preferred to hide from the sun instead. When it was time to go inside they both ran over to me and sat at my feet until I opened the door.
