Bella had an awesome day with friends today. She was her usual excited self when she got outside for her first group outing this morning. She played along with the huskies in her group and enjoyed wandering around the yard. Bella was quite excited to go for her walk with this morning. They had a nice time. Then it was time for her next outdoor play time. She seemed so happy to see all of her friends in the yard. Right away, she ran up to her pal Rosie. Bella wiggled around excitedly as she sniffed Rosie. She sniffed Rosie's nose which apparently tickled. When I went and sat on a rock, Bella and her friend Lola came over to me for cuddles. Bella hopped right up onto the rock with me and enjoyed being up there. Then Bella joined in with Justice, Magic and Rosie as they ran all over the yard and played. She had a great time with them, then followed Magic into the pool after. Bella laid down and enjoyed the cool water. Bella was so excited as I leashed her up to do her extra attention. Since the weather was so lovely today, I brought her out front and hooked her up to the long leash. There were a few toys lying around in the grass, and so Bella decided to check them out. She sniffed around a big red ball. I kicked it along the ground to see if she'd want to play with it but she just watched it roll by and went on to the next toy. She checked out a blue rubber bone toy. When I tossed it across the grass, she chased after it. I then pulled some treats out of my pocket. She got very excited and did some tricks for the treats. After enjoying her yummy treats Bella cuddled right up to me and even tried to give me some kisses. The sun was quite warm so we spent the rest of our time together sitting under the shade of a tree Gracie had a great day. She was super cozy and curled up in her big bed this morning when I came in. As usual, she leaped up out of bed to greet me. I gave her some cuddles. Shortly after that I let her outside for her first group outdoor time. She mostly just relaxed and explored around. Then, it was time for walks. Gracie got a one on one walk today. She really enjoyed it! Not too long after her walk, she went outside again with her group. At first, she was quiet and mostly explored around the yard on her own. Then, she noticed a new dog in the group, Remie. She wandered over to him and began to sniff him. They sniffed each other for a while and Gracie was very interested in him and followed him around for a while. Suddenly, she began to pounce playfully at him. The two dogs began to play and instantly became the best of friends. I don't think I've ever seen Gracie have that much fun! She was so amped up and excited that she raced around the yard and ran through the agility tunnel about five times as fast as she could. She then returned to Remie and they played non stop. She loved to flop onto the ground in front of him and swat at him. Millie had a nice day. In the morning, she was happy as usual to be going outside to see everyone. She hopped up and down with excitement before I let her outside. When it was time for walks, Millie walked with her friend Tango on the trails. They had a great time. Not long after her walk, it was then time for her next outdoor play time. Millie was once again very excited to go outside. Initially, Millie just enjoyed exploring the yard on her own. She really enjoyed sniffing around in the tall green plants and putting her paw into the patch to dig around a bit, Then, she found a nice patch of cool dirt in the shade under the play structure. Millie laid in this nice and cool spot, and stretched out. She began to roll around and dig her little feet into the dirt. When she came out of the play structure she was covered in dirt! After having a fun time outside, it was time for her extra attention. I brought Millie up to the playroom, because I know she loves it in there. She instantly started running around, sniffing at every toy in the room. When I picked up a yellow rope toy and tossed it across the room, she raced after it and then pounced on the toy. We went from toy to toy, using them to play fetch with. Her favourite toy seemed to be a red rubber toy. She carried it around the room, and would leave it around for me to throw. After playing a bit of fetch, she laid down on the floor all tired out. She then started to roll around on the floor, letting out little sneezing sounds. She leaped around and we played together. She loved when I tickled her tummy. Dexter enjoyed his time outside today. In the morning, he was quite excited to see me and let out a little whine of excitement. I gave him a quick cuddle then let him out for his first outdoor group time of the day. He looked happy to see all of his friends as his tail was wagging. A little bit later, it was time for walks. Dexter seemed quite pleased to be walking with his pal Lexi. He enjoyed exploring the trails alongside her. Soon after his walk, we once again went out for his next outdoor group play time. Dexter seemed eager to go outside, and once he was in the yard, began to explore happily. He stuck his head into bushes of green plants plants and sniffed around. It almost seemed like his nose was non stop sniffing. He would walk across the yard with his nose to the ground in order to sniff as much as possible. Then, Dexter came over to me with his ears down and rubbed up against my legs. I gave his ears a scratch, then he turned around and backed up onto me so that I could scratch his back. He loved it so much he would turn and look at me as if he was smiling. Keegan and Dugan are just too cute and were very excited to run around in the yard today. Dugan sped out the door with Keegan following close behind and off they went straight out to the grassy part of the field. Keegan’s nose hit the grass as he ran around tracking a scent that had caught his attention. Dugan closely following behind. His brother wasn’t as interested in the smell so instead he came over to see me. Bouncing up onto my lap he wagged his tail in delight as I pet his head and his back. He was very happy with his cuddle time and decided to go around to visit his friends after it was all done. Keegan had seen how much fun his brother was having so decided to join and so he came to visit me as well. He was very happy with all the head pats I gave him and ran around barking in excitement to show just how awesome his cuddle time was. They both had a wonderful day today and were very happy exploring and getting cuddles. Xena is just such a sweetie and was really looking forward to our time outside where she could run around in the sunlight. Xena ran right out with her brothers trailing behind her as she went straight for the grassy area. She pranced around happily in the grass loving the way the coolness of it felt on her paws and every now and then she would look up in delight while watching the sun. She came over to see what I was up to at one point and got some cuddle time before Caesar and Zak cut in to get some cuddles too. It was too crowded for her taste so off she went exploring around the yard lazily galloping through the grass. She loved her time outside and had a great day running through the grass. Zeus and Brody are so adorable and as soon as I opened their kennel door both came right up to see me for some cuddles. After that was over it was time to go explore outside. Zeus was so excited to explore the yard while Brody was looking for something in particular: a toy to play fetch with. As soon as we made it to the grass part of the yard Brody found a toy. Zeus had to go check out what was so interesting about this toy but couldn’t see anything so off he went to run around instead. Brody and I played fetch together for a while until he stopped bringing the toy back and decided he just wanted to lie down and chew it. Zeus thought this was the perfect opportunity for him to come over and get some cuddles. He nuzzled his head into my side almost knocking me over so I gave him lots of head scratches and belly rubs. They both had a great day today and loved everything they got to do outside. Gracie’s enhanced/extra attention went really well today and she had a lot of fun during both. First we started with her extra attention where we went into the lounge to spend some one on one time together. She explored all around the room and found a few toys that she liked so we played with them for a little while before going and sitting on the couch. While we sat on the couch she got lots of cuddles which she enjoyed before going back to play with her toys. Once that was over we went for a structured walk which she was very good at and then as we walked we practiced her sit, stay and lie down. She did very well during her enhanced and had a great time showing off her skill.
