Benji is always so eager to go outside and today he ran out the door and headed straight to the further yard where he began to explore with the other dogs. He went up to each dog just to give them a sniff and say hello before he ran off and started to explore some more. He didn’t play much with the others but he did socialize with them at the start of group time. As he was exploring, Benji kept on digging his face in and biting chunks out of the snow and eating it. When he was all full from eating the snow he ran to the fence and gazed out at the field, I think he was trying to tell me he wanted to go back out and explore the trail again!

Molly is such an energetic girl, even when she’s in her kennel she is still bouncing around with excitement. Right as she got outside today she started chasing Bennie as fast as she could to the other side of the yard and they began to play a game of tag. Bennie is quite a quick fellow and he outran Molly when she was trying to catch up with him. I picked up a bone and showed it to Molly and she was super intrigued right away and stopped playing tag and ran over to me and sat at my feet waiting for me to throw it. The longer I took to throw the more eager she got and she started jumping up and she grabbed it right out of my hand! She's so silly; she can hardly sit still when she sees you and she's vibrating with energy!

Percy was off doing his own thing and exploring the yard when he saw Molly chewing on her bone on the ground. He watched her for a moment before deciding he wanted to try and get his paws on the toy. Molly ended up getting angry and took off to the other side of the yard and continued to chew on it there. When Percy didn’t manage to get the toy he wandered around the yard until he came across an orange ball, which he picked up and kept in his mouth as he ran around everybody to show it off. I tried to grab the ball from him to throw it but he did not want to risk the chance of anybody else catching it. When he was done playing with the ball, Percy and Bennie began to chase each other around in circles around all the other dogs. Bennie loves to play chase and he’s down to play with anyone that wants to!

As Bennie was running around he was circling around all the dogs and hopped up on Hobart’s back. Hobart was so surprised that he hopped up and turned around to face Bennie right away. Hobart keeps to himself usually when he’s outside with the other dogs during groups but he still likes to go up and say hello. Today when all the dogs were running around the main yard, Hobart took off by himself to the agility yard where he wandered around and explored before coming back over to us. He ran up to me when I called him and he squeezed his head through my legs for me to pet him.

Max always builds up all of his energy inside so when it’s finally time to go out he runs as fast as he can out the door. On his walk this morning he was super energetic and was trying to run the entire time which gave me a good workout! During his group outside, Max wanted to play with Issy really badly and was very intrigued by her. He followed her around trying to play but she was in more of a calm mood. Issy wanted to go explore instead, so that’s what she did. She was sniffing around all the snow as Max went to go find a different partner in crime. He immediately ran up to Tasha and started to bounce around her in circles to see if she was interested. Tasha was loving him right away and she started bouncing up and down in circles as well. Tasha is a tough girl and seems to love Max's vibe.

Tasha was exploring when I called her over to me from the agility yard and she ran over so fast with a big smile on her face. When she started playing with Max you could tell she was loving it! Max would jump on her back the take two steps back, and then Tasha would do the same to him until they were full on play fighting. Issy was watching them play from across the yard and it interested her so much that she ran over just to get a closer look. When she ran up to them, both Max and Tasha started to run around Issy to try and get her to join but she wasn’t interested in playing. She liked to just walk around them and watch instead.

Issy was very social today and had her fair share of time with each dog outside. She made sure to hang around every one so they weren’t left out during their time outside. Mocha tends to enjoy exploring and get cuddles usually, so I always make sure she’s having just as much fun as the others in her own way. She explored for a bit by the door as Issy came up to say hi and Mocha loved Issy’s company and followed her around a little bit outside. She also came up to me for some cuddles and attention before going back to the door to sit and relax.

Boris was a very happy guy today outside, as soon as he stepped foot out the door he ran up to Storm and started to sniff him. Storm backed away, anticipating when Boris would pounce. When Boris followed him, he started to chase him all the way to the agility yard and Storm stopped quickly. Storm would much rather wrestle then play tag so he started to jump up on Boris and play fight to see what he would do. Boris loved it and jumped up on top of him as well. They were play fighting for the whole entire time outside when Maverick ran up to check out what they were doing. He kept on trying to get Storms attention by hopping up and putting a paw on his back then barking, playing referee to Boris and Storm's game.

Maverick only had eyes for Storm during group today. Since Storm was in a wrestling match with Boris, Maverick kept a close eye and bounced along with them as they played. Maverick made sure that the boys were playing fair and then decided to head off to the other side of the yard to have a look around. He explored with on his own before heading back across the yard to join in with Storm and Boris. When Storm and Boris started to play tag again it really caught Maverick’s interest and he ran right up to join in. Maverick loves a good race around the yard and was happy that his group mates were in for a run.

Aura and Shyla spent their time outside today wandering around for the most part. They both went off to the agility yard where they sniffed around in the snow separately. Shyla likes to keep to herself as she's exploring and comes to join the others when she's ready. I was trying to go up to see her today and she kept on pouncing around, turning it into a game! When it was just about time to go back inside, Boris started to chase Shyla and she ran as fast as she could towards the door to be sure to beat Boris inside. Aura went up to all the dogs when she was done exploring and slowly went up to give them a sniff and check things out. She didn’t join in the wrestling but she ran around them and acted like a ref, she would bark every time they got too rough with each other. When Storm was all done wrestling with the others, he bolted off and started to chase Aura around the yard, I think she was waiting for her turn to play tag and she was happy that it was Storm who joined her.

Buffy was very eager to go outside for her walk this morning. The whole time we were on the trail she kept on trying to race up to the dogs ahead of us hoping to meet some new friends. I told her that she would have to wait until group time, though and we slowed down and kept it casual. She was such a happy girl outside today and made sure to come up and greet me as I walked out the door. She explored with Dexter for a while before I picked up a bone on the ground to get her attention. She ran over and started to jump around me waiting for me to throw it. When I threw it, she watched it land on the other side of the yard and let the others chase after it and turned to me for some attention. What a smarty pants distracting the others! Dexter went off to explore more in the other yard, he loved to dig in the snow and ran around from one spot to the other going as deep as he could. As he was digging he would bury his face in the snow so when he lifted his head up his dark fur turned white! He wasn't in too much of a playful mood with the others today but he still made sure to run around everyone and sniff them to say hello before going off on his own.

Brooke and Naughty are always hanging around each other in the yard. They both have very similar personalities and are happy to do the same things as one another. Naughty brought a plastic bone to me and dropped it at my feet for me to throw. Brooke saw and ran right over with excitement in her eyes, she started wiggling her body as she was going in circles around me. She wanted me to pet her just as much as she wanted me to throw the bone! When I threw it, she and Naughty chased after it all the way to the other side of the yard, Naughty is so fast that she didn't even have to try to make it there before Brooke, not that she minded. Brooke always has a smile on her face and she ran back to me so I could give her some cuddles. Naughty ran off as some of the other dogs chased her down for the bone, when she finally managed to find a nice spot in the snow and started to chew on her bone.

Kizmet and Teddy are such nice dogs. They were so well behaved on their walk this morning and walked right beside me at the same pace the whole way! During groups Kizmet was playing a bit with Brooke, she loved Kizmet and bounced around him in the yard to try and get him to join in with everyone as they ran around. He played for a minute but he only stayed for a minute and he ran straight over to me where he hopped up and gave a kiss on my face. He's such an affectionate guy once you start petting him, he just wants more and more. Teddy was getting excited watching all the dogs run around Kizmet and decided to join in. Teddy kept on jumping up on his back and when Kizmet would run away he would just chase him down and do it again. When the other dogs approached Teddy, Kizmet would run a circle around him to keep his brother all to himself!

Chloe was super hyper when she got outside today just like usual. She started running around in circles to work off some of that energy when she saw one of the dogs with a bright red plastic bone in their mouth. As they were running around with it showing it off to everybody, Chloe ran over and started to chase them. She really wanted that bone! As hard as she tried, they got away and she took off to the other yard to sniff around and explore. When the other dog was done with the bone I picked it up out of the snow and threw it for her and she ran as fast as she could to it before any of the other dogs even had a chance to move and she stopped right on top of it. It landed right beside another bone that was the exact same and Chloe couldn't decide which bone she wanted more!

Heidi is such a fluff ball! She and Cooper are two very happy dogs, they always have their tongues hanging right out of their mouth with the biggest smiles on their faces! They were wandering around the agility yard outside today on their own. Cooper likes to run when he explores, and kept on running from one spot to another as he sniffed around, Heidi on the other hand likes to take her time and walk at a slow pace to enjoy it. Cooper started play fighting one of the dogs and it led to them wrestling around in the snow, Cooper just gets so wound up when he plays and can't help but jump around! Heidi ran over to watch for a little before running back to me. After I gave her a little cuddle she stayed by my side the rest of the time that we were outside. She followed me wherever I went which was very nice since she has such a calm energy about her.

Oliver is such a sweet boy. He was very excited to go outside today that he just couldn't wait for me to put his coat on! He was trying to escape the whole time and couldn't sit still as I put it on him, but I managed and he was glad in the end since it was fairly cold out. Outside he took his time exploring around as the others were playing, he walked slowly and was careful on a particularly slippery patch of ice, so I brought him to a different area that was less slippery so it would be easier for him to trot around. He was sniffing around the agility tunnel and even poked his head in to see what was going on. The tunnel was full of snow so he opted to keep sniffing along the outside of it.
