Smalls
This group was soaking up the sun today and definitely did not waste the gorgeous weather. While Iris and Rocky wanted to keep each other company near the door, everyone else wanted to zoom around in the yard. Iris played around with a couple of the puppies for a little while and then wanted to stick near her bud Rocky. Rocky's sister Maya spent almost the entire time outside running around with her pal Baxter. The two of them wore each other out! With both of their tongues slung over the sides of their mouths, they both lay exhausted in the grass. Fortunately after a moments rest, they gathered up enough strength to do a few more matches of chase and some wrestling. Coco and Timbits were of course inseparable the entire time they were outside. Coco is always around to make sure that Timbit has someone to play with outside. When she is temporarily occupied with other important matters, she always has one eye on him to make sure he is playing nicely. Timbits did wrestle around with the puppies for a little while, during which Coco decided to go join in on Maya and Baxter's game of chase. Nanook came in for a good bum scratch and some pets. He did check in to see what the other pups were up to, checked out the agility tunnel they were busy playing in and then proceeded to do his yard surveillance. Chloe was also keen on getting in on the energy radiating from Maya and Baxter and she hopped in to give Maya a bit of a break so that she could test herself against Baxter's chasing abilities. She proved to have some good moves and later on went to play with the shorter pups. Mac caught her eye so the two of them hung around each other for a little while.

Plenty of energy was flowing around this group today as everyone could see the bright sunshine from their kennels. As soon as the door opened, Boris ran over to Magic and the two of them did not separate the whole time they were outside. They ran from one end of the yard to the next, made a bunch of noise and Boris got temporarily stuck in a hole in the yard. Of course, Tasha had to get in on the action so she and Magic teamed up together against him in their wrestling matches. Those two ladies sure do make a great team and they had Boris on the ropes almost the whole match. Oakley was so excited to see me when I got outside that she hopped all over me! She then left my side to go do a bit of socializing and to check out a cutie by the name of Walker. Finnegan got to play with a fellow Doodle which was a fun thing to see! So much curly-ness running around in one yard. The two of them wanted to join in on Magic and Boris's fun but decided to keep their own game going instead. After a while of playing, Finnegan and his friend decided it was best to save a bit of energy for later and both helped to referee the new match going on between Tasha, Boris and Magic. Walker introduced himself to Tasha before she got involved in her other game and the two of them hit it off almost immediately. They danced around each other for a bit and then started a wrestling match of their own. After a little while, Tasha decided to go check on her son and Walker went off to play with Oakley and another pup named Lipp. Bella seemed a bit lost with all the activity going on; she couldn't choose a yard to be in because she wanted to be near the action but everyone kept switching yards on her! Finally, she settled on the yard that the husky-match was going on in so that she could keep those hooligans in line and also do some much needed sniffing.

Well it was a good search and find day for Apollo! He first found himself a nice bone but then decided he was not satisfied with just that so he went on to search for bigger and better toys. His persistence paid off and he found three rope toys. He played with the biggest one and dragged it around to show off to his friends and then put the other two into a treasure pile. After that, he managed to find another toy, a nice blue rubber bone which he waved around for a little while before heading in. Logan isn't much into high speed chasing or wrestling but he sure has a good sniffer on him. He used it to sniff his way all through the yards this afternoon. He was joined briefly by a nice fellow named Brokk, who kept him company as he was doing his perimeter sniff. Logan popped in on me to say hi but then became intensely preoccupied with something in the grass so he had to leave.
