Sunday December 6th 2015

Boris and Tasha started their time with me on a nice long walk around the field together. They both ran around excitedly while smelling everything in sight. Boris loved all of the cool and interesting smells from the fields and would run to the end of the leash trying to get the first look at what was coming. Tasha preferred the quieter walk where she spent some time smelling around but just enjoyed the walk for most of the time. After walks it was time to go outside with all of their friends. Boris was so excited to meet up and play with everyone. He got along really well with everyone and they chased each other around the whole time. Tasha instead decided that today would be a fun day to go and explore her old home. She ventured into the agility yard to see if Boris was being good then she took off into the other yard to explore. Boris had a great time playing fetch with all of his friends and he came so close to winning the amazing toy but Molly always beat him to it. Tasha finished her time with me by coming and cuddling up to me while we watched the others play together.

Max was so happy today when I walked into his kennel with a leash to take him out for a nice morning walk. He spent his time with his friend Finnley and they ran around together on their leashes until they had no more leash to run to. Max then spent some time with me and a bunch of others outside playing in the yards. He loved playing with his friends and was so excited when I started playing fetch with him and the others. He would run as fast as he could to try and get the toy but he was always being beat by someone else. When all of the fun of playing catch wore off, Max came over to me for a nice long cuddle where he got lots of ear rubs. Max had a great day and was so much fun to be around and was just very happy to be here.

Lipp came in today and right as he walked into the back it was time to go for a walk with Molly, his new friend. The two really hit it off on their walk as they bounced around together and smelled around the path. Lipp had fun on his walk and was so happy that he got to spend time with someone just as playful and energetic as he is. When his walk was done, he had to say goodbye to Molly for a little while until it was time to go outside and play. Once he got outside he found his friend again and began playing with him and to his surprise, a bunch of others joined in on their game. Lipp eventually began running around with anyone he could meet and made tons of new friends. He adored it when we had a big game of fetch but he could never outrun some of the others to get the toy. Despite not being able to win the toy he had a great time meeting all of his new friends and getting to play with them.

Molly is such a silly girl and is also not shy when it comes to meeting new friends. She was so welcoming to Lipp who just arrived today and was so playful with him that the two instantly became best friends. Molly loved running around outside on a leash while we walked the trails and couldn’t help but bounce around when she found an interesting scent. Once walks were done, we went outside where Molly found an amazing looking toy that she wanted me to throw for her to go and get. She was so excited when I threw it for her but she didn’t realize that she would have to race the others for it. She ran as fast as she could to try and get the toy and to her surprise she had outrun everyone and regained possession of the toy. This happened a few more times before someone eventually beat her to it. Molly left that toy and found a new one that had a squeaker in it and was so happy with the toy that she brought it inside with her.

Emma had a great day today with her twin Tennya and her pal Nanook. Emma started her group play time by going around the yard and taking in all of the new scents. She then decided that it would be time to find something to do so she chose to go and explore the yard for hidden treasure with her pal Tennya. Tennya followed her pal Emma around on her quest to find something very cool in the yard. The two of them had a great time together trying to find something to show off to the others but they ended up empty handed by the end of the day. Nanook on the other hand decided that he would come and visit with me for a little while since it had been so long since we had last seen each other. He came and cuddled with me and absolutely adored it when I would rub behind his ears. After he visited with me he took some time to play with one of the puppies before going and exploring the yard for the rest of the time.

Oliver was so happy when he saw me walk in today to let him outside to play with his friends. Oliver raced outside and met up with his twin Luna. They went and explored the yard together until Oliver saw how much fun some of the others were having playing and bouncing around. He ran over to join in on the fun and was quickly accepted into the game. After a while of some playing Oliver became bored with the game so he went and explored a little more with his twin. He searched and searched for something that I just could not see, but he enjoyed looking for it even though he never did find it. When the search was over he came over to me for some one on one cuddle time where I gave him some big hugs and plenty of love.

Logan had a wonderful first day today and was so happy when it was his turn to go outside and meet some new friends. He was so excited to meet all of the new people that he would be spending his time here with and couldn’t wait to find a playmate. He met up with a few people before he found the perfect playmate and that was his new pal Sophie. The two had a great time running around together and taking turns chasing each other around the yard. Logan was so happy when Bentley joined in and they chased him all around the yard together. He was so cute to watch playing with the others because he would try so hard to get them to play with him even if they didn’t want to. All in all Logan had a great first day.

The cat room was full of excitement today as Daisy and the others got to roam free the whole time. Daisy preferred to stay up in her little cozy apartment today while the more adventurous cats went out and played. Daisy loved being pet and cuddled with and loved being scratched behind the ears. When I was done petting her she was purring happily in her cozy room. The others played the whole day with Daisy watching from afar making sure nothing became too out of control under her watchful eyes.
