Kyah had a great run around with her buddy Justice. After some agility tunnel chase and some puppy fits, the two had a cool down session of yard sniffing to slow things down. Kyah is always up for snuggles but its tough to pet only her because often Justice will try to wedge his way into the loving!

Winston is always happy to keep others company outside. Even though he may not be much into chase games or wrestling, he is always willing to do a quick sniff around the yard and then goes right back to hang with the quieter pups. Holly and Iris appreciated his company, and the three of them clung to each other to fight off the wintery breeze. Iris and Holly sure do look cute in their little snow suits! All bundled up, Iris was ready to go when she stepped outside for group. She wandered around the yard a bit and came accross a nice bone in the yard. She then heard her sister calling for her to keep her company near the door so she went over for some sisterly lovin! Darby made a friend named Baxter today and the two of them actually danced around for a bit! Baxter was so excited to play with Darby that he was dancing around her crying and Darby was only too happy to have a little admirer following her around. Coco and Timbits are just so in love with each other that they just play and run the entire time they are out. Timbits loves the tunnel, some agility work may need to be in his future! Kouza just loves to be outside! With the breeze flowing through her fur, she sniffs around and wanders close to wherever the pups are. Whenever you are close to her, she likes to talk to you. Its almost as though she is trying to fill us in on her day so far! After outside time, the pups went in the playroom and roughed around with the toys and pounced around with each other!

Casey sure came out of his shell today! He was so happy to be running around with the other pups, making sure everyone played nicely while still wrestling around. Of course though, there is always time for snuggles and he loves to hop up and give lots of kisses to us. From accross the yard he will give you his famous Casey-stare down and then come running over to you for some love! Rex got plenty of exercise this afternoon while running around with his pals Boris and Tasha. He was also quite fond of two other pups in the yard who he ran around with but mostly just enjoyed getting a good run in with everyone! Mr.Duke was happy to join in on the fun and games with everyone else after he had a nice yard-sniff to himself. He came bounding over to the group ready to play and run and that is exactly what he did! He went zooming around with his pal Kane before everyone else hurdling over to join in. The play was short and sweet but nonetheless fun! Tasha loves to play with her boy Boris, but when Boris is preoccupied with his lady-friend Magic, Tasha likes to go pounce around with her friend Kane. She bops him on the head until he becomes intruigued enough to bouce around with her.

My goodness, Athena and Aphrodite are some true gentle giants! Aphrodite just loves attention and will be at your side constantly to get petting and love. She followed me around the yard the major portion of outside time but did occassionally stray to go check things out in the yard and to check in with her siblings Athena and Hercules. Hercules had such a great time running around and playing with Dexter. Him and Dexter had a whole area of the yard to themselves where they pounced and wrestled around with one another. Hercules also liked playing with another pup named Logan who really loves the darting game. As soon as Hercules would run over to catch him, Logan would dart out of his way which can become quite tiring for both pups. Needless to say, they will both be sleeping soundly tonight! Fez loves to wander around with his lady-friend Hershey. They keep each other company, wandering around the perimeter of the yard, sniffing this and that. Hershey enjoyed meeting the younger pups today but afterwards was happy with the company of Fez. Fez found a nice hole in the yard and decided to investigate it. Once he was done that he returned to Hershey to continue on their sniff patrol. Athena is a little more independant in the yard. She likes to visit with her human friends but mostly enjoyed sniffing around by herself. She makes sure to keep a watchful eye over her little brother but will keep her distance to make sure he can have his own fun.

Finnigan and Dougie were this groups patrol pups. The two of them were tail to nose following each other around the yard, sniffing things out to make sure everyone else was safe and sound. They did take a little sniff break to wrestle around with each other but then resumed their ever important patrolling. Sammy made a friend named Brokk who followed her around practically the whole time they were outside. He learned her expert sniffing ways and together they found all the important smells in the yard. A couple times Brokk tried to get Sammy to play but Sammy informed him that sniffing was not to be taken lightly, that it was important business so they resumed their ever important work.
Max had a bit of an energy influx today but did not feel like playing too much. So instead, we decided to go for another walk to burn off some of the excess energy and then of course him and his sister Sadie got to wrestle around in the play room. So much sound radiates from that room when they are playing in there. They both love to play rough but they really seem to have a great bond :).

Rex and I went into one of the playrooms this afternoon to play around and also work on some training! We did sit (which he aced), we practiced "place" which he does quite well, stay, come and lie down! After that, what else could I do but reward him with some tug with one of the rope toys and then it was time for some petting!

Well it was a nice treat today to get to hop into Fez's kennel to have some afternoon snuggles. Him and I sat on his cot together to relax and cuddle. He is such a sweet boy though that he makes it difficult for you to leave him. When he looks at you with those sweet eyes of his, it just melts your heart and you're practically forced to give him at least one more minute of petting.

Chief is such a sweet boy! Even if you aren't around him, you can hear his singing coming from the cat room. He loves to lounge around in the cat room all day. He gets the whole cat tree to himself and boy is he ever loving it! It is such a treat to get to have him stay here. He is always up for snuggling and loves to be picked up and hugged :)
