Cattery
I headed in for a visit with Kafka and Daisy. Kafka was quick to come over for some pets and attention. She then left me to continue wandering around the room. Since Daisy hadn't come to say hello I went to see what she was up to and found her curled up having a nice nap in her cubby. She woke up and had a good stretch before cuddling back into her bed.
Groups
The first group of the morning couldn't wait to get outside. Molly was quick to start bouncing around me hoping I had a toy. When she realized I didn't she ran off to find one for herself. It didn't take Molly long to find one though she quickly lost it to Boris. Sophie and Charlotte made their way over to me to say a quick hello before they went off to see what the rest of the group were up to. Duke started tearing around the yard with Brenyn on his heels. Boris ran to join them for a little while, but he soon decided to do a little exploring in the grass with Tasha. Molly found herself another toy and had no plans to lose it this time. It wasn't long before she was asking me to throw it for her. Boris soon went back to see about playing with Duke. He didn't stay long before he went back to Tasha, who was also then joined by Charlotte and Zoe. Boris once again left to go join Brenyn and Duke. They went tearing out to the main yard and were closely followed by Charlotte and Zoe. I headed over to see what they were all up to. Molly followed me out to the main yard still wanting me to throw the toy around. When we arrived, Charlotte come over and grabbed the other end of Molly's toy. Soon they were having fun playing tug-o-war. On the other side of the fence stood Sophie watching her little sister having fun. Molly eventually got the toy away from Charlotte and ran off to chew it on. Charlotte then went to go and play with Boris. Tasha left her explorations to make her way over to see why Duke was so much fun. They then spent some time checking each other over. Duke was soon back to racing around with Brenyn so Tasha went to go do some more exploring. Molly was soon back at my side wanting me to throw the toy. We were joined by Whisper who either wanted the toy or wanted Molly to play with her. She wasn't very clear. I left and went to have a little visit with Sophie since she still didn't want to brave the mud to come hang out with the rest of the group. I then made my way back to the grassy yard where Molly now had a different toy and was waiting for me to throw this one as well. Duke and Brenyn were still having fun racing around the yards with Boris on their tails. Boris was then intercepted by Tasha. Not too long after that they were having fun playing with Charlotte and Zoe by the tunnel. Charlotte and Zoe split off from the huskies to have a good golden wrestling session where it became almost impossible to tell who was who.
The littles were the next group to make their way outside. They were all quite excited to get outside and to say hello to our new addition Leo. Leo didn't seem to mind being the centre of attention and was quite happy to say hello to everyone. Intros done, Mac, Emma, Finnegan and Maggie were quick to start racing around the yard. Brodie and Cara went to go do some exploring around the yard. Leo made his way over to join Cara while she was checking things out and soon Brodie wandered over to join them. Leo and Brodie then headed out to the far yard to continue their explorations. They were soon joined by Mac, Maggie, Emma, Mojo and Cara. Cara ended up returning to the main yard fairly soon after. Mac, Maggie and Emma continued their racing once they got out to the far yard and had a great time. They were then joined by Finnegan and ended up losing Mac who was distracted by a bone. He wasn't distracted for long and was soon back wanting to run some more. Cara stood watching them from the main yard, she eventually decided that she wanted to join them and went out to do just that. After running around for a little while she came and planted herself in front of me and demanded some attention. Brodie was still of checking things out with Leo. He then paused in his explorations to watch the others antics. This apparently gave Brodie some ideas and he was soon trying to get Leo to play with him. He was moderatley successful in his attempts.
Coco and Timbits became one with the huskies...husky puppies that is. It was adorable and probably my most favourite group of the week. How could it not when it contained 6 puppies who were all running around adorably? Coco didn't seem to mind being the only one who wasn't a puppy and had a great time running around with her little brother and friends.
The second last group made their way outside. Oliver was quick to put his nose to the ground and set out to do some exploring around the yard. Dawson, looking super handsome after his groom, also headed out to do a little exploring. Wanting to make sure everyone stayed as clean as possible we made our way to the far grassy yard where there was minimal mud. Oliver and Dawson met up and spent some time checking out a particularly interesting chunk of grass. Oliver then went off to walk around with Lexi while Dawson met up with Bentley. Dawson then found himself being asked to play by Katie. Oliver came over to play some fetch. He then ran off to have a nice roll in the grass. Feeling extra frisky Oliver ran to join Dawson and Katie.
I got Max and Sadie ready for their walk together. We headed outside so we could work on some leash manners while with one another. They were both quite excited to see one another and to get outside. They spent some time checking things out before we got serious. We worked on walking nicely next to each other then threw in some sits and waits. I also managed to get them to pose for the camera. After we finished with some training it was time for playing. I let them into the playroom and they were soon wrestling and having a grand old time.
