We are having massive amounts of issues getting our pictures to upload to Blogger! I'm going to post what we have so far because we are already a day behind. If your dog isn't included in the pictures, check back...we will keep updated as they slowly upload.

Maya and Rocky ventured out into the grassy yard once again today. As usual, I picked Rocky up and cuddled him in my arms as I carried him to the bigger yard. Maya trotted along side us, very curious about what I was doing with her brother. When I set him down, she got very excited and began zooming around him. Her fast actions got the attention of Dugan, who began pouncing all over Maya and Rocky. Maya quickly darted away, while Rocky tolerated Dugan’s games. Finally, Rocky wandered off to sniff the long grass. Meanwhile, Maya found herself being chased by little Ziggy. Ziggy is such a sweet girl, Maya couldn’t help but give in and dance around with her for a bit. After a couple quick laps around the yard, Maya met up with Goliath. Goliath was very smitten towards Maya. HE was very persistent with her, requesting her to please play. Finally Maya gave in to Goliath and danced around with him too.

Dugan was full of beans today. He was so excited to get going with his daycare friend, Bailey. These two kept one another so busy from start to finish of their outdoor time. Dugan loved pouncing all over Bailey, while Bailey enjoyed leading him on fast paced races around the yard. Dugan loved tackling Bailey to the ground when he finally caught her. She was flail about in the grass, acting like the victim, yet when Dugan would stop Bailey would leap up and smother him. These shenanigans carried on forever. It was fun to watch them play all around the yard, including on the picnic table and in the agility tunnel.

Keegan was happy to have my attention for a lot of his outdoor time today. He was sure to stick as close by as possible so that he could swoop in for a cuddle whenever he spotted me alone. He got a bundle of pets and scratches while his brother looped around us. Keegan was mostly interested in sniffing and exploring when he wasn’t by me. There was lots to check out in the long grass as well as in the gravel yard. When Tiffani came out into the yard, and then went back indoors, Keegan got very excited. He began dancing all around the door looking for her. He was even leaping off the door at one point. When we head back indoors he zoomed up and down the hall with excitement before settling into his bed for an afternoon nap.

Bessie had so much energy today! I don’t think I’ve seen her run so fast, and run so much since she has arrived. It all started when her husky friend, Vega, leapt up on the agility tunnel. Somehow this provoked Bessie to begin zooming around like a mad women. It was so cute watching her dart and dash all around the yard. It took no time at all for Vega, Reese and Teddy to be hot on her heels. These two looped around the yard over, and over and over. I could barely capture photos since they were running so fast. Bessie even lead her two friends through the agility tunnel and even over the picnic table. The running only stopped for a moment when Bessie spotted me with a Frisbee. I launched it across the yard and this got her running again. The fact that she had a Frisbee in her mouth made Teddy, Vega and Reese chase after her even more. These games continued forever. Finally, when they were tired out Bessie came over to me for some cuddles. We found a comfy spot in the shade and she cuddled up onto my lap with her front paws. She offered me lots of wet kisses and some nice snuggles before we head back indoors.

I was very excited to see Reese this morning. He is such a good, easy going boy. We really enjoy his company here. He couldn’t wait to get out on his walk with two friends. He trotted along the trail with much excitement. His tail never stopped wagging the entire walk. In the yard, Reese was just as excited to meet numerous new faces. He took his time going from dog to dog politely saying his hellos. Once he got to know everyone he was excited to join in on some fun. At first he supervised Bessie, Vega, and Teddy running around the yard but after not too long he decided to join in. He didn’t let the age gap stop him from running and playing with these energetic youngsters. Reese was so fast on his feet keeping up as they ran around. After a couple laps he took a break to cuddle with me. It is impossible to say no to him as he looks up at you with a big smile on his face. We had a good cuddle session before he head back into the yard to sniff and explore some more.

Teddy started his day off on the right foot. We had a fabulous walk along the trail with two good friends. Teddy sure kept me busy as he leads the way with his friends trotting behind. In the yard Teddy couldn’t have been in a better group. His friends Bessie and Vega were so fast on their feet from start to finish of group time. Teddy was in heaven, chasing these two ladies around. He didn’t let their agility over the picnic table and through the tunnel slow him down. He stayed right behind the girls as they zipped and zoomed around. He slowed down for a cookie, twice, which was when I snapped the odd photo. He is so fast, capturing a non-blurry picture of him can be tricky! Needless to say, he had a lot of fun.

Indi enjoyed her morning trail walk with playful pal Harvey the Airedale; these two are both strong and determined little ones so it made for a very fast-paced trot! Indi and Harvey met back up again a short while later after their walk to meet up with their favorite friends out in the yard. Indi was all business at first, nose to the ground in exploration. She must have picked up a strong scent because she was on the hunt for something, only to stop dead in her tracks and have a grass roll on her back! This got the attention of Stella the St. Bernard, she excitedly ran over to see what Indi was so excited about and sure enough, then she was down rolling on her back as well, I never took her for a roller! Then in came silly Sophie, now she is known for her rolls, all three of these ladies had a blast rolling around in the warm sun. Indi was now in a playful mood and she darted towards Harvey and Riley for a chase around the yard. Meanwhile Stella hung back with me and was all smiles with that big floppy tongue hanging out the side of her mouth. Together we watched Sophie frantically run around the yard collecting various toys to roll around on, just amazed with all of that energy she still has!

Today siblings Tsavo and Cai enjoyed their outdoorplaygroups together and boy did they have fun! They were paired with the restof our regular Thursday daycare crew including fellow sisters Issy and Mocha.Mocha was playing musical chairs all morning long; she was trying to find thebest seat in the house and I saw her move from door to door and even in theoutdoor kennel to find the warmest spot in the sun. She gratefully acceptedhead rubs and even a few nose nuzzles from Mr. Cai who got her all riled upwhen he enticed her to play! We all know that sister Issy was already outexploring the yard in usual fashion, she never misses a beat that one! Mochawas happy that pal Kimi the Husky kept her company for most of the morningwhile Issy hung out with the boys Percy and Cai over in the grassy yard. Kimihad just come from her morning trail walk with Sophie the Golden and Riley theShepherd and she was pooped from her walk, so was thankful to lay low withMocha in the sun. Percy and Charly picked up where they left off last time andplayed an epic game of fetch together. Percy has perfected his fetch game andbeat Charly to the toy every time! He literally catapults himself into the airafter the toy bone and it makes for the perfect photo opp! Tsavo and Cai werealso interested in playing with rambunctious Charly and together the three ofthem had an epic-wrestling match. The bond between siblings Tsavo and Cai isone that cannot be broken.
