Timbits and Bailey were quite the duo today. They didn’t spend much time apart. There wasn’t much that was going to bring them down. The sun was shining and their friends were all around, which had them extra happy. The pair stared things off by sniffing around the yard. They met up in the middle, along side Shelby and Isis. Isis was quick to begin zooming around, getting the little ones to chase her. Bailey and Timbits zoomed after her, howling in excitement. They finally broke off on their own to wrestle and romp around. As their games got more and more intense, Coco came zooming in to check up on the youngsters. Coco is always sure to keep Timbits in line, and she is slowly trying to teach Bailey some lessons too. This beagle trio always has me smiling, as they keep one another so entertained and busy. Coco was a little bothered by the water in the yard; she was trying her hardest to watch the puppies while avoiding the puddles. She was very successful. However, Timbits and Bailey began playing in the puddles which was when Coco lost interest. She then made her way over to the sunny gravel to sun bathe while Timmy and Bailey continued to zoom around. Soon, Bailey had a toy which got Timbits very excited. She raced away from him as fast as possible. He stayed hot on her heels as she zoomed in circles around the yard. It wasn’t long before Isis and Shelby were back in the grassy yard zipping and zooming around with them. After loads of running, and wrestling, the beagles took a break to sniff and explore. Their noses led them right to me, and the baggy of treats I was holding. After sitting very politely, Coco, Timbits, Bailey and all their friends happily accepted some snacks before returning indoors for an afternoon nap.

Victory was full of beans from the moment I got here this morning. She was so excited when she saw me walking to her kennel with leashes in hand. I quickly clipped her up and we headed out for a trail walk with two friends, Eddie and Dexter. Victory loves how long the grass in the field is getting. It won’t be long before the tractor comes and chops it all down, so it’s good that she is enjoying bounding through it while it lasts. She spent most of her walk in the field, sniffing through the grass and flowers with a very happy wagging tail. In the yard she was thrilled to be apart of such a fun group. Despite all the dogs playing around her, she was very intrigued by Kyah. Kyah wasn’t feeling as social today; she rested in the shade against the wall supervising the shenanigans. Nonetheless, Victory begged her to play over and over. After numerous play bows, paws, licks and barks, Kyah gave in. The pair briefly danced around before Victory gave up and head over to some younger dogs for some more fun. Victory was quick to get playing with Gracie. These two frolicked around one another for a long time, pawing at each other and play bowing back and forth. When Finn joined in Victory was even happier. Victory loved watching Finn roll over onto his back. She wiggled around him, encouraging him to get up and play. Gracie also began rolling onto her back which confused Victory a bit. Once the pair stood up, the trio had some good fun playing and zipping around the yard.

Gracie had such a great day today. Finally, we have some sunshine, which really seemed to energize her. We started the day off with a nice walk, accompanied by two friends. For the most part, Gracie trotted by my side. She would wander into the grass after Poppy occasionally, and then would motor ahead to check up on Leah. She was always sure to make her way back to me after her explorations on the trail. Gracie was very frisky in the yard today. She immediately began bouncing around the second she got outdoors. She flew from yard to yard with her ears up and tail wagging. There was a lot of exploring to do as well as many dogs to say hello to. Once she settled in she got goofing around with Victory. Gracie was so playful with the lovely Victory. The pair of them alternated swatting each other with their paws and leaping around in circles. They were eager to have Finnigan join in on their games too. Gracie loved this combination of dogs, and continued to play around for a while. After she was satisfied with her fun in the sun, she made her way over to me for some pets and cuddles. Gracie showed off her big smile, over and over, as I pet her warm fur and gave her ears a good scratch. Before it was time to head indoors she met up with her friends once more for a quick sprint around the yard.

Finnigan started his outdoor time off with his nose to the ground. He had so much territory to sniff and explore before settling in to play. Finn is always extra excited when I open to the gate to the second yard. All the exploring keeps him very busy. Finally, he spotted me kicking a toy around and of course he came running. Finn was super excited to get chasing the red rubber ball. He leaped and bounded all over it as I kicked it around. He loved picking it up and whipping it around too. All his silly actions got the attention of two group mates, Victory and Gracie. Finn wasn’t sure what to do as they approached him, so he performed his signature stop, drop and roll. This confused the girls a little bit, but didn’t stop them from checking him out. Victory continued to wander around him as Gracie pawed at his side. Finally he leapt up and the trio began dancing around. Finn loved all the attention from the ladies, continuing to play bow and paw at them as well as offering them kisses. These games continued until he decided to check out his husky friends. After he greeted all his mates in the yard, he played some more and then gladly wandered back indoors for a snooze.

Sophie had another fun and muddy day today. She started off the day with a nice walk with two of her friends. Every few minutes she would stop and roll around in the grass making sure she was nice and dirty. She then got a quick rest before she went outside for playtime. During playtime, she found a great big mud puddle and sat right in it. When she finally stood up, her whole bum was all muddy. After she was done messing around, she came up beside me and would not stop barking unless I pet her. Every time my hand left her body, she would instantly bark. It was hot out so after all that playing and cuddling she was ready to go inside for a nice long nap.

Dexter had an eventful day today. He was so excited to start off his day with a walk. During playtime, he made a new friend named Bode. They were both walking around together smelling all the new smells. At one point, they started doing laps around the yard chasing each other. After Dexter got tired, he ran right over to his favorite little spot underneath the play structure to cool off. He tried to keep out all the other dogs and was having fun doing so. Luigi, another one of Dexter’s friends, was running around the play structure trying to get Dexter out to play. However, Dexter sat his bum down and only stuck his head out of one of the holes. When it was time to go inside, Dexter planted himself underneath the structure and would only peek out to see what was going on. He finally gave up and came to the door. Dexter is getting used to all the new dogs and smells and is having a great time.

Roxy, Trixie and Charlee had another great day today. They especially loved today because it was so sunny and warm out. They started off the day with a nice relaxing walk all together. During the walk, Roxy and Trixie decided they wanted it to be a run instead. Every few seconds they would run as fast as they could then stop to catch there breath and then do it all over again. Charlee and I had to try really hard to keep up with them. After their run they got a quick rest before playtime. Roxy and Trixie were running  around together for most of their next outing. Charlee made a new friend named Finnigan. They were roaming the yard all day together. Charlee would jump up on the little table and Finnigan would follow.
