Bessie was a little nervous this morning, but when I went into her kennel to take her out for a walk she jumped right on my lap and gave me lots of kisses. She is so sweet! She went out for a walk with the happy Rottweiler Zennon, and they became fast friends. They walked side by side the whole time, and checked out all the smells out in the field together. During playtime outside, she was a little hesitant to get in on all the action and stayed pretty close to me at first. After I gave her a big cuddle though, she was ready to play with everyone else. She had a blast chasing after the ball, and was always running after it with her friend Zeke. Even though she was having so much fun in the sunshine, she would always check back with me and ask for a scratch behind the ear.  Whenever I called her name she would come trotting over and give me a big kiss on the nose. She was such a good girl today and played so nicely with everyone.

It’s always so nice to see Gracie here; she greets everyone with a happy face and a wagging tail! She was very excited to go out for a walk this morning, and when I asked her to sit while I got the others ready, she sat and waited so nicely for everyone. She is such a good girl and calmly led the way during her walk with Victory, and Nika the German Shepherd. She was in a very adventurous mood today! During playtime outside she was checking everything out, and found herself a spot where she could see all the action! She jumped up onto the top shelf of the play structure and had a great time soaking in the sun from up high and watching everyone play. She has been so nice to the other dogs as well, and let little Bessie jump up and share the perch with her. She also had fun talking to her friend Zeke from up high, and jumped down to race him around the yard.

Sophie loved the sunshine today and was in a very happy mood! She was excited, as always to go out for her walk, but was a bit more relaxed today. She was very into playing fetch and chased after the ball with her friends Zeke and Bessie. Whenever she succeeded in grabbing the ball before the others she would do a little victory dance as she rolled around in the grass. When she got tired of fetch though she ran over and glued herself to my leg, looking for a pat on the head or a scratch behind the ear, which I was more than happy to give her.  Even though she’s still her happy, enthusiastic self, she’s mellowed a bit over the course of her stay. Even though she’s still very vocal and is always looking for someone to play with, she is very respectful towards the other dogs, and everyone loves to play with her.

Stella  gave me lots of kisses as soon as I saw her this morning. She is such a big sweetie, and stuck pretty close to me during playtime. She did run around with her friend Victory a bit but her favourite thing was getting a scratch behind the ear. Even when Victory decided she wanted a share of all the love Stella was getting, Stella was very respectful and let Victory have a turn without any fuss. She is such a good girl, and plays so nicely with everyone. She was so much fun to hang out with today, and when it got a bit sunnier she had a blast following everyone sniffing around the yard. It even looked like she wanted to try out the play structure at one point; she poked her head through the door but realized that the rest of her probably wouldn’t fit through. She also made friends with Zennon the Rottweiler. They were very content to trot around the yard together or relax for a bit in the sun. When she was all tuckered out, she went and waited in the shade by the door with Victory, letting me know she was ready to go inside.

Spencer had a blast today, and was jumping for joy when I showed up to take him out for a walk. When we made it outside, he decided he wanted to sit down in the middle of the field instead of walking with everyone else. After a bit of coaxing he came along for the walk, and happily trotted beside me the rest of the way. During outside time he was pretty relaxed today. He mostly kept to himself, sniffing around the yard and chilling out under the shade in the play structure. After a little while, he decided to mingle with the others and had a great time! During extra attention, we played tug a war for a little. When a visitor came in Spencer was very friendly and sat so nicely when he was offered a treat. We relaxed for a little bit afterwards and he rolled over looking for a belly rub. Spencer is such a sweet guy and makes instant friends with all the dogs and everyone he meets!

Victory was in a very cuddly mood today and was always running over looking for a scratch behind the ear. She was all over the place during her walk this morning and was so excited she couldn’t decide which way to go. After a while she settled in and had a great time out in the field with her buddy Spencer. We even came across a baby painted turtle on the trail, and Victor waited very nicely while I moved it out of the way. During play time outside Victory was very vocal and went up to everyone, trying to find someone to play with. Vega the Husky decide she wanted to play too, so the two of them tore around the yard together, stopping every now and then to sniff around the fence. Victory also took a liking to Stella, the big Saint Bernard. Whenever Stella was getting some pets or a scratch behind the ear, Victory was right there looking for some love as well. Even when she gets excited, she’ll always calm down when she gets a cuddle. She had a blast during extra attention today, and ran around the playroom checking out all the toys. She was still looking for lots of love and after she got a big scratch behind the ear she went over to the window to see what was going on outside. She was a ton of fun to hang with today, and wherever she went lots of activity and excitement followed!

Charlee, Trixie and Roxy all had an amazing day today. It was the perfect weather outside so all three were so happy. They started off the day like usual with a morning walk all together. After their walk they got to go out for playtime with all the other small dogs. Charlee is so much more comfortable making new friends. She was running around with all different friends today. Trixie and Roxy, like most days, stuck by each other for most of their playtime. The two of them love roaming the yard and smelling all the new and different smells. Charlee kept jumping up on the little toy table. At one point, her friend Ziggy jumped up on the table and the two of them sat up there for most of the playtime together. All three of them had such a fun and relaxing day.

Benji loves being at the kennel. He is so adventurous. During his morning walk he would run in every direction possible trying to discover something new. He sure did make the walk fascinating when he would jump right into the tall grass. After his walk with a couple of his friends, he got to go outside again for a nice long playtime. He loves to make new friends and is very social. He made friends with every dog at playtime this afternoon. He was roaming the yard with one of his many friends and her name was Roxy. He loved being outside on such a nice day like today. He was smelling all the new smells and getting his paws wet in the puddles. After all that running around he was so tired out. When he got back into his kennel he immediately laid down. Benji is excited for another day tomorrow and happy to be making so many friends.

Keegan and Dugan loved the perfect weather today. They woke up bright and early ready to go outside. They loved their morning walk, which was more of a morning run. They ran in every bush smelling all around. After the walk, they got a couple minutes to rest before they had their big playtime. When it was time to go outside they got up so fast and ran out the door. They both had such an easy time making friends. For part of the playtime they stuck by each other but when they got a little more comfortable they both ran off and fooled around with the other dogs. Both Keegan and Dugan made friends with Trixie and Roxy. The four of them love to just walk around the yard smelling everything. After a long playtime, they were both tuckered out and ran back inside for a nice nap.
