Max and Sadie were the first group of the morning. Both of them were quite excited to be in the same group as Magic. They went racing off to the far yard to run around and play. Sadie later took a break from playing to stand on the pallets and watch what everyone else was up to. Max and Magic were more than happy to continue playing on their own. The group then noticed that the gate to the grassy yard was open. They all went trotting out to start sniffing around in the grass. Max finished sniffing around and went to see about getting Magic to play some more and she was more than happy to join him. They played alone for a little while but were soon joined by Wally. Sadie checked on her brother a couple of times, but was happy to continue on exploring. Max and Magic went running back out out to the far yard so the rest of the group tagged along. Sadie seemed happy to check out some areas she missed before.
The little guys were up next. Nymeria and Scarlett were quick to start wrestling as soon as they got out the door. Maya stood a little ways away watching them, while Lola and Pearl ignored the madness and set off to do some exploring. Miko was bursting with energy and went racing around checking on what the others were up to and checking out the yard. Nymeria bumped into Maya and then they were off running. The group headed out to the far yard where Nymeria, Maya and Scarlet continued to race around and wrestle while Pearl and Lola continued exploring. Miko did a bit of both. He went racing around the yard then went to see what Pearl was looking at. He then tried very hard to convince Pearl to play with him. Lola left the others to their playing and took up a position that allowed her to sit and watch everyone's antics.
Next up was a rather fun group. Maple was quite proud of herself when she found a toy and went racing off to show the others. She was quickly distracted by Rosie who was asking her to play. Maple ditched her toy and went to play with Rosie. Charlotte and Sophie started with a little exploring around the main yard. Charlotte then met up with Cooper and soon the two of them were having a great time wrestling. Charlotte, Maple, Cooper, and Rosie all ended up making their way out to the grassy yard, where they put their noses to the ground and set of exploring. Sophie decided to hang back and keep checking out the main yard. Eventually, she did make her way out to the far yard, where she seemed happy to continue exploring in peace. Back in the grassy yard, Maple took off racing with Rosie once more. Charlotte and Cooper continued on exploring together. Since everyone was occupied, I went to have a visit with Sophie, who was now watching the others through the fence. She was quite happy to see me and was quick to meet half way to ask for some love. Charlotte was now finished exploring and starting bouncing around Cooper. Cooper was more than happy to play with her.
The second last group was up next. Baxter was quick to start running around while Kyah was a little more sedate. After having a tour of the main yard the two of them went running out to the grassy yard. Baxter and Kyah both put their noses to the ground and set off to check things out. I showed Baxter the toy I had found and he was more than happy to leave his exploring to go and chase after the toy. He snatched it up and went tearing off around the yard. Baxter then dropped the toy and continued to race around. When I asked him where he'd put the toy, he was quick to go and snatch it back up. Baxter then decided it was time to have a relaxing chew on his toy. Kyah had been checking out that particular section of dirt and so headed off to check out another part of the yard. Baxter didn't stay in the same spot for long, and deicded to head over to the tunnel to have a nice quiet place to chew. Of course this caught everyone's eyes and they all went over to see what he was up to, Kyah included. Once she had seen what Baxter was up to, Kyah decided it was time to run. She went tearing off around the yard with Gunner and Pualu on her heels.
Percy was pretty excited to get out and say hello to the rest of the group. It didn't take him long to notice Justice. After that it was the two of them wrestling and running around the yard with a couple others joining in every now and then. Percy and Justice are really great friends and they are so fun to watch. After a while of playing, they needed a break and set of to do some exploring together. That didn't last overly long and soon they were back to playing.

Nymeria was full of energy today. She wasn't quite ready to focus on work so we tossed the ball around for a little bit. Nymeria then remembered I had treats and we got down to business. We worked on her sit which is basically perfect and her down, which still needs a bit of work when she's super excited. As per usual, she was more than happy to give me her paw while she was doing her sits and downs. Nymeria has now mastered her sit from a down so we didn't spend too much time on it. Next we moved onto some recall work, before doing some 'look at me'. Since Nymeria was rather distracted today, after her doing it really well a couple times we moved onto something else. Today I decided to work on her patience level with a game. Basically I toss some treats and she had to sit and wait until I tell her she can get them. Since I didn't trust her to actually wait, I held her back. Nymeria was not amused, but she eventually sat. When I told her she could go she was very quick to snatch up the treats. I threw in some recall work as well.
