Groups
Max and Sadie didn't waste any time getting out and having fun in the yard. Almost as soon as they got out the door, they were off running around with Rosie. They went racing all around the yard with a little wrestling thrown in here and there. After a little while, Sadie headed out to do a little exploring. Max was happy to continue playing with Rosie on his own. Sadie didn't stay away long and was soon ripping around the yard while Max and Rosie tried to keep up. I later opened the gate to the grassy yard. Max, Sadie, and the others all set out to do some exploring. It wasn't long before Max and Rosie were playing once more.
Coco and Timbits were quite happy to get outside on this lovely day. Timbits was also pretty happy to discover a new friend, Scarlett. They spent some time checking one another over. When that was out of the way, they were off running and wrestling. Coco said her hellos then headed off to put her nose to the ground and see what she could find in the grass. Magic soon joined Timbits and Scarlett's fun. The three of them went tearing across the yard having a blast. Eventually Coco couldn't resist, and had to go and run to join in herself. She didn't stay for too long as another smell was beckoning her. Towards the end of our time outside, Coco wanted to play once more and went off to wrestling with Timbits.
The next group to make their way outside was the rest of the little dogs. Cooper, Keegan, and Mika set out to say their hellos to each other and to check out the main yard. Keegan only did so much exploring before he found himself a good rolling spot. He had a great time rolling around like crazy and even drew a bit of a crowd. When they were done checking out the main yard, the group and I headed out to the far yard. Cooper and Mika ended up making their way over to the rocks by the far fence. They then spent quite awhile giving it a very thorough once over. Keegan did some exploring in the grass. Once again he only got so far before he ended up rolling around with his feet in the air. Cooper finished up with the rocks and made his way over to me for some pets and cuddles. Keegan noticed this and stopped rolling to come over for some pets of his own. Cooper left us for a minute to check something out, but he was soon back for some more love. When they had both had enough attention, Cooper headed off to do some more exploring and Keegan went to roll around some more. Mika was still happily exploring around the yard when she noticed Cooper and Keegan were off doing stuff again and she ran to check on them. Mika did pause for a quick visit with me then continued on her way.
The second last group of the morning was a pretty fun group. Millie was super excited to get outside and greet all of the dogs in her new group. Hudson, a new addition, took his time to get accustomed to his new surroundings and it didn't take him long to say hi to everyone and decide all was okay. The group went racing out to the grassy yard. Millie and Hudson started to race around when their noses got the better of them and they stopped to do a little exploring. Hudson was soon ready to play and he decided on Millie as his partner. The two of them had a blast bouncing around and running all over the yard. Millie then noticed Justice having fun without her. She had to go over and see about possibly stealing him away. Hudson tagged along. Soon they were all racing around together. Hudson left for a little while to play with Barley, but he was soon back to playing with Millie.
The last group of the morning were very ready for it to be their turn. Viggo and Sophie set out to do a little exploring around the yard. Charlotte and Bridie took off running to check out the far yard. Baxter was on his way to the far yard as well when he spotted a frisbee. He then turned all his attention and effort to trying to pick it up. I left him to his fun and went to join the others in the far yard. Baxter wasn't too far behind me, having decided to leave the frisbee behind. Everyone spent some time exploring around the yard. Charlotte was soon bored and turned to Birdie, wanting to play. Birdie was more than ready to play and soon they were off running. Viggo having seen all he wanted to see of the far yard made his way out to the grassy yard. Charlotte went racing out after him with Birdie on her heels and Baxter tagging along behind. Once again, everyone set off to do some exploring. When they'd seen all they wanted to see, Charlotte and Birdie were back to playing. While they were racing around Sophie joined us. She did a little look around then went straight over to join Viggo. The two of them spent the rest of the group going around checking things out together. Baxter eventually had seen enough of the yard and decided it was time to play. He went bouncing off to join Charlotte and Birdie as they raced around. Along the way he found himself a toy and just continued to race around with it.
Extra Attention
Millie was quite happy to get to head out for an extra walk. We made our way out to the front yard. Millie wanted to check everything out while also wanting to stare out across the fields. I let her decide where we wandered. After a little while we settled down for a bit of a cuddle session. When Millie had had enough love we continued on our way. When we came back inside, Millie had some fun running around the reception area with Julie and getting lots of pets from Kinsey, Syarah and I.
