Cattery

It was Sassy's turn out in the room when I headed in to visit with the cats. She was hanging out at the edge of her cubbby just chilling and contemplating life. I tried to get Sassy to play with a toy but she wasn't too interested. After a little while it was Allie's turn out and she was much more excited. She was quick to start meowing and demanding I let her out. As soon as I opened the door she hopped down and went to have a good stretch and scratch on the scratching post.  Allie then made her way to the windowsill to watch the world go by for a while.

Groups

The littles were the first group of the morning. Emma came over to my side for some pets. She then left me to spend some time with Gatsby and Flora as they all smelled each other over thoroughly. Mac was next to come over for a visit asking for lots of attention. He then went running over to have a visit with Julie. Mac met up with Gatsby and they went tearing out to the far yard. Gatsby split off to go do a little exploring. When he'd seen all he wanted to he came trotting over for a visit and some scratches. Emma stood watching everyone from the main yard. She eventually decided to join us and wandered out to the far fence to see what was happening beyond. Gatsby left me and went running out to where he knew where a toy was hidden in the grass. He snatched it up and proceeded to start tossing it around and having a great time.

The next group couldn't wait to get outside. Max was quick to start booking it around the yard and seeing if anyone would run with him. It wasn't long before he was being chased by Percy and Teddy. They were soon joined by Wyatt, Zeus and Kane. Cai was the only one not involved and he was off exploring in another part of the yard. Wyatt and Kane then branched off to do some running around on their own. Max, Zeus, Percy and Teddy continued to race around. Cai finally couldn't resist the pull of all the fun and ran to see about getting Kane to play with him. They bounced around and wrestled for a little while until Kane went racing off. Cai declined to chase him, which was fine as he soon had Max, Wyatt, Percy, Zeus and Teddy on his heels. Zeus took a little break from running around to see what Cai was now up to. When he ran back to rejoin the others, Cai decided to take another stab at getting Kane to play. Max didn't want the running to stop and continued to run around with Percy and Teddy. Zeus didn't want to miss out and ran to join them shortly after. Max then found himself being pounced on by Wyatt. Cai took a break from Kane and went off to do some more exploring. He was then approached by Zeus who wanted to play. They had a great time wrestling and goofing off. When Zeus moved on, Cai was then asked to play by Trooper.

The middle group of the morning ended up being a very fun group. Sophie and Hershey met up as soon as they got out the door. They then spent some time checking one another over and saying hello. Hershey met up with Bentley and the two of them decided to head out to the agility yard together. Sophie made the choice to stay in the main yard and do some quiet exploring. Charlotte, Jasmine, Madison, Silver and Spencer had already made their way out to the agility yard. When he heard us coming, Silver ran to greet us as we entered the yard. Not too far behind him, Madison came barreling over. Jasmine followed a little more slowly behind her sister. Charlotte and Spencer went racing past having a great time. Silver went off to do a little trotting around the yard. Madison turned her attentions to Spencer, who was taking a break from Charlotte. She then switched directions and pounced on Jasmine. Once again Madison switched directions and asked Charlotte to play. Silver seeing that Spencer was now free, went to see about getting him to play. Pretty soon it was wrestle mania in the yard. Madison ran off to go and see what Jasmine was doing in the far part of the yard so Charlotte went and found herself a rope toy. Hershey came and stuck herself to my side. She was enjoying watching the others' antics while also periodically reminding me to pet her. Madison was soon back from her visit with Jasmine and ready to play some more. This time she focused her attentions on Silver. Charlotte took a break from playing to come and spend some time with Hershey, which was quite adorable. Silver and Madison's fun was soon interrupted by Spencer. This then resulted in Spencer and Silver having a blast wrestling. Spencer left to go and do some exploring, Silver didn't mind too much as he was soon approached by Bentley, who very much wanted to play. Hershey was starting to feel a little frisky and was bouncing around my feet and barking, demanding lots of love and pets.

The second last group of the morning was probably my quietest group. The majority of the group headed outside to the main yard where they congregated to all say hi to one another. Finnley and Tsavo soon started to run around the yard having some fun. Teddy made his way out to the far yard to do a little exploring. When no one followed him out, he made his way back to the main yard to rejoin Kizmet. We then made our way out to the agility yard where Titan and George were already waiting for us. Tsavo made her way over to follow Titan around for a little while and see what he was looking at. They were eventually joined by Kizmet. Tsavo then left Titan to go and see what George was up to over by the fence. They then ended up trotting around the yard together. Wondering what they were up to, Fergus decided to tag along. Finnley was trotting around doing his own thing checking out anything that caught his attention. Titan was doing the same thing, though his nose rarely left the ground. Fergus eventually left George and went trotting around until he met up with his almost look-a -like, Finnley. They then spent some time checking each other over before trotting off in separate directions. Teddy and Kizmet left us to make their way back out to the main yard. After a little while Tsavo decided to see what they were up to. I headed out as well to check on them. Tsavo was off exploring the far yard thoroughly while Teddy and Kizmet were just hanging out in the main yard. Fergus and Titan decided to follow me out and, after seeing what the others were up to, they started running around together.

The last group of the morning was an interesting group to watch. The group made their way out to the far yard where Ranger went trotting around checking everything out. Issy, Mocha, Maverick, and Shyla also set out to do some exploring though they all congregated together. While they were checking out the yard they were also checking each other out thoroughly. Mocha was in a very good mood today and spent some time going from Shyla to Maverick and back again, hoping one of them would play with her. Maverick after spending some time with Mocha went off to walk around a bit with Issy. As they were made their way around the yard, they acquired Ranger along the way. When he'd seen all he wanted to see, he went trotting back to Mocha. Shyla went over to check it out for herself. When she didn't find it overly interesting she went off to see what Issy was up to, which was just having fun kicking grass around. Shyla went trotting back to Mocha and Maverick over by the play structure. Issy was apparently still quite fascinating and Shyla was soon back with the other husky girl. Maverick and Mocha then spent some time bouncing around each other and play bowing. I kept waiting for them to start racing around the yard but it never happened. Ranger was still enjoying going around the yard checking things out. Issy and Shyla then had a bit of a grass kicking competition going on. When they'd finished we decided to make our way out to the agility yard. Mocha was content to stay in her spot by the door in the main yard. Ranger and Maverick were quick to start exploring in the rocks. Shyla went a little further into the yard before she did some exploring in rocks as well. Issy just went trotting around the yard.
