Maggie and Cara had so much fun spending the day together. The first thing they did after they woke up this morning was play with each other when they were outside. Maggie started the game by pouncing playfully at Cara. Cara's tail started to wag and she was very happy to play. This continued throughout the day- Maggie and Cara were always on and off playing. The girls walked seperately this morning, Maggie went with Sadie and Cara went with Zoe and Dixie. Later on, they went outside for their first outdoor play rotation. Of course, Maggie and Cara began to play. They also played with their pals Bentley and Dixie. They saw the girls playing together so then they wanted to join in as well. Since both the girls loved to stick by each other's side, they would come up to me at the same time for cuddles every once in a while. They took turns leaning against my legs and getting back rubs. Maggie loved having her ears scratched too!  Dixie had a ton of fun today. Her morning began with lots of excitement. She was playing within 5 minutes of being awake. It was a great way to burn off all that energy by running around the yard. Not too long after that, she went on her walk through the trails. She walked with Zoe and Maggie. They had a great time. On her first outdoor play rotation, she was super excited to be going outside with her friends. She raced around the yard quickly then greeted everyone. She and her friend Bentley started playing. Bentley was playfully pouncing at her which set her off into a run. They chased each other all around the yard until the two dogs couldn't run anymore. After a quick break, Dixie was back at running around. She didn't even need any other dogs for her to have a lot of fun. She just ran and ran until it was time to go inside.  George and Titan had a great day. In the morning, Titan went on a walk with his friend Kane, and George got to have a one on one walk. They both had a great time. Not too long after their walks, it was time for their group to go outside for their first outdoor play rotation. As usual, the boys were eager to go outside to explore the yard. When they first got out, they quickly greeted their friends, then set off. Today they both found something during their exploration. Titan found a cube of wood which made the perfect toy for him to run around with it in his mouth. George found a bone, which he seemed very happy about. He laid down and chewed it for a pretty long time! While George was enjoying his bone, Titan came over to me for some cuddles. George joined him shortly after, and made sure to bring his bone. Luigi and Birdie had a great time playing today. I definitely think both of their favourite parts of their day was whenever they were racing after each other in the yard. During their first outting, I noticed that Luigi was pouncing around at Birdie. Birdie had just woken up so it took a few minutes before she started pouncing and playing too. That is where they started to become inseperable. They went on their walk through the trails together, which was a lot of fun. Not too long after that, their group went out for another rotation. Birdie was practically hopping up and down with excitement to go out. When they were outside, anything could make Luigi set off into a run. Noises coming from the other side of the yard or dog prompting him were most common. He would quickly react to whatever made him excited then start running. Birdie was definitely realizing how much fun Luigi is to play with, and she kept making Luigi chase her around. Luigi was also a big cuddler! He would come over to me and stand with his back facing me and knew I'd give him a back rub. He did this a ton of times throughout the day.  Zeus and Cesar had so much fun playing today along with their pals. Bright and early in the morning, they went on a walk together on the trails together. They both had a great time! During their next playgroup, Zeus was very excited to greet everyone. I noticed that whenever Zeus went to greet one of his friends, Cesar would follow behind and greet them as well. Other than that, the dogs were relatively quiet in the yard up until their pal Kane decided to start a game of chase. Zeus was the first to join in, and they were having so much fun that Cesar quickly joined in as well. The three dogs became inseparable; they did not stop moving or playing until it was time to go inside. Their tongues were hanging out the side of their mouths as they raced around the yard. Cesar loved to jump up on top of Kane or Zeus, and let them knock him off. I noticed that this continued all throughout the day. Nanook had a wonderful day. In the morning, he went on a walk with his friend Lexie. They had a great time together. He was quite eager to go outside today when it was time for his first outdoor play rotation. Immediately when he got outside, he began to explore the yard. He really seemed to enjoy wandering through the grass with his nose glued to the ground. He came across a corner of the yard where he really enjoyed exploring. He spent quite a long time there and eventually his two friends Mac and Gatsby came to join him in exploring. A little while later, Nanook enjoyed some cuddles from me. He came and sat right at my feet with his back turned to me. I started scratching his back and I could tell he enjoyed it.  Gatsby had lots of fun with friends today. He was very excited this morning to go on a walk with his friend Mac. Gatsby was always bouncing around on the path. A little while later, he was even more excited to be going outside. The first thing he did was greet his friends. He made sure to sniff everyone. After that, he became quite interested in Lexi. He decided to pounce at her to see if she wanted to play. Her ears perked up and she sort of shuffled around for a few seconds. Gatsby did it again, and then sprinted off into the grassy part of the yard. He continuously ran over to Julie, barked, then ran away. He must have had fun doing it. He also played with Mac for a bit. Mac noticed that Gatsby had found a red frisbee toy. This must have excited him and he ran over to Gatsby and started chasing him. Gatsby made sure to run super fast and dodge Mac. This competition went on until Mac finally gave up. Lexie had a lovely day. In the morning, she went on a walk on the trails with her friend Nanook. She had a great time! Not too long after her walk, it was time for Lexie's group to go outside for their outdoor play rotation. She was a bit shy towards me at first, but warmed up to me quite quickly. I put my hand out to her so she could sniff and she slowly came closer. It wasn't long before she was coming up to me for cuddles. She had a bit of fun with Gatsby. He came up to her and playfully pounced. This made her ears perk up and she shuffled around. Gatsby then pounced again and ran away. Lexie seemed to contemplate if she should chase after him or not, and decided to stay where she was and get some more cuddles from me. Pilot had a good day. We spent a lot of time together. In the morning, he went on a walk with his friend Mocha. When he got outside for playgroup, he quickly sniffed around the yard. Then he came right over to me. It became apparent that he really loves getting cuddles! He would stand with his back resting up against me. I always gave him a back scratch when he did that. If I stopped, he would start nudging my arms with his nose. He even let out a little bark sometimes. I think his favourite spot to be scratched was his ears. He head would turn as I did it. Pilot was always happy and wagging his tail. We continued to spend time together and he got lots of cuddles throughout the day. Teddy and Kizmet had a great day. First thing in the morning when the boys went outside, they seemed to have quite a bit of energy. Kizmet started to pounce around at Teddy. Teddy stood still watching Kizmet as he continued to bounce around.  Kizmet even started to pounce at me! This got Teddy going and he became energetic as well. They both also came up to me for cuddles. They went on a walk with their pal Bentley on the trails in the morning. It was a good time as usual. When it was time for their next outdoor play rotation, the boys had a great time exploring the yard. Sometimes they'd be together or across the yard from each other checking out all the new scents. Teddy came over to me after a while and I gave him a cuddle. Kizmet saw this and came over as well and sat at my feet!  Hobart had a nice day. First thing in the morning, he was quite excited to go outside. Hobart was bouncing around until I let him outside, where he relaxed. Then, it was time for his walk. He walked with his friend Tucker. They had a great time together! Not too long after that, Hobart was out again with his group. Again, he was pretty excited to go outside. He quickly greeted his doggy friends then began to explore for a while. I noticed he enjoyed sniffing along the edge of the fence. When I called him over to me, his ears perked up first then he happily came trotting over with his tail wagging. He sat at my feet and I gave him some cuddles. Sophie and Charlotte both enjoyed their day. In the morning, Sophie went on a walk with her friend Roxy, and Charlotte walked with her friend Wyatt. A while later, it was time for their groups first outdoor play time. Charlotte was playing non stop with Wyatt. It began when Wyatt came up to her and put a paw on her back. She turned around and began pouncing on him. Wyatt would always knock her down onto the ground and she'd roll onto her back. They played on and off all day! Meanwhile, Sophie got lots of cuddles from me. We spent most of the time outside together. She loved getting her back and ears rubbed. Whenever I'd stop petting her she'd sit at my feet and wait for more. Tucker had a wonderful day. When I saw him first thing in the morniing, he was unbelievably excited to start his day. He let out little whines of excitement when I let him outside. When he was finally out, he did a few circles around me. Then, he went on his walk with his friend Hobart. They had so much fun! A little while later, it was time for his group to go outside for another outdoor play rotation. He quickly greeted everyone in his group then set off to explore. He found himself a rope toy in the yard and carried it around. He came up to me to show me the toy and got some cuddles at the same time. He played along with Charlotte and Wyatt as well.
