I headed into the cattery for a visit with Kafka and Daisy. At that moment it was Kafka's turn out in the room. She was quick to come over for some pets and love. Daisy was sitting in her cubby waiting patiently for it to be her turn. A little while later it was. I opened the door and she was quick to come over for some ear rubs and chin scratches. Daisy then hopped out and went to do a little window watching.
Groups
The first group of the morning were ready to make their way outside. Sophie, Kimi and Lobo made their way out to the far yard while Charlotte, Jasmine, Madison and Tanner went off to the agility yard. Kimi and Lobo were quick to put their noses to the ground and start checking things out. Sophie did a little wandering around the yard before she decided to head over and see what Kimi and Lobo were up to. I left them to their exploring to see what the others were up to. Kimi and Lobo decided to follow me out. Tanner was quick to come charging over for some love and attention. It wasn't long before Charlotte came barreling into Tanner wanting to play. Kimi and Lobo went over to see what Jasmine and Madison were up to. They all then spent some time checking each other over. First Kimi and Lobo checked out Madison and Jasmine, then Madison and Jasmine checked over Kimi and Lobo. Tanner and Charlotte took a break from playing to just trot around the yard together. Tanner made his way over to say a quick hello to Jasmine before deciding to follow her around. It wasn't long before Tanner was play bowing at Charlotte wanting to play some more. Soon they were off racing around. It wasn't long before they were joined by Madison. Jasmine headed over to the fence and stood with her nose in the air trying to catch and identify all the ineresting things. She then went to go and join Lobo as he explored by another part of the fence. Lobo then left Jasmine to go and see what Tanner, Charlotte and Madison were up to. He decided to act as referee and commentator and let me know everything that was going on. As Jasmine passed by, Tanner went bouncing over to play bow to her. He ended up striking out and so went back to playing with Charlotte. Kimi left off her explorations to go and join Lobo in observing the others. With everyone having fun I made my way out to have a visit with Sophie in the far yard. She was quite excited to see me and came racing over to lean against my legs and demand lots of love. Jasmine followed me out and thought Sophie had the right idea. I soon had the two of them vying for my love and pets. Luckily I had two hands.
The next group coudn't wait to get outside. They all went charging out to the agility yard. Once there Max went over to Whisper and was quick to ask her to play. He was in luck and soon they were having lots of fun running and wrestling. Boris was also having some fun running around though he was doing it by himself. He then took a break to go and see what Tasha was up to over by the lounge. Tasha and Boris then spent some time with their noses to the ground thoroughly checking out that particular area. Tasha headed out to the check out more of the yard when she was side tracked by Max. At the same moment Boris went racing past, which caught Max's eye. He left Tasha to go and chase after Boris. They were soon back and the three of them spent some time doing a little exploring together. Tasha was then feeling a little frisky and started bouncing around and on Max wanting to play. Boris turned his attentions to getting Brenyn to play before going racing off once more. He then went over to visit Zoe and have a tug-o-war match. Whisper stood watching everyone's antics and staying out of the way. Max then left Tasha to see about getting Whisper to play some more. He was successful and soon they were wrestling and having a great time.
The second last group of the day started out a little slow. Everyone headed out to the agility yard where they all branched out to do a little exploring. Finnley was more interested in trotting around the yard while Fergus had his nose to the ground interested in every scent. I led them out to the far yard for a change of scenery and it wasn't long before Fergus was getting Bentley to play. Finnley not wanting to miss out on the run, went racing off to join them. The three of them had a blast racing around the yard. Bentley needed a bit of break so Finnley and Fergus decided to keep the fun going and continued to play and wrestle.
The littles were the last group of the morning. Today the littles were joined by some puppies. Mac was quite excited by the new additions. After he had thoroughly checked them over he went off to race around with Finnegan. Emma said a quick hello to the pups then headed off to do a little exploring in the grass. She then made her way out to the far yard to hang out with Merida. Mac left Finnegan to go back to see about getting the puppies to play with him. Emma spotted Finnegan laying in the grass having a nice chew on a stick. She spent some time staring at him she then sat down next to him patiently waiting. Mac and Merida went racing by and Emma was quick to go racing after them.
