Domino was feeling very spunky today, as usual. He was so excited to head into the yard and see who he was going to have in his group today. Domino was thrilled to meet up with Ayla the husky puppy. The pair hit it off immediately and the games instantly began. As he was dancing around with Ayla, Glory, Wally and Ammo joined in on the fun. Domino was keen to participate in the the tornado of games. As everyone broke off into their own little duo's, Domino broke off on his own to sniff and explore. As he was wandering about he came across Cooper who had a fabulous rope toy. This prompted an intense tug match between the boys. Domino's way out of the tug game was by leaping up into the play structure. He sure took Cooper by surprise, and enjoyed the birds eye view of all his friends for a while. Finally he spotted Cara on her own and had to go cheer her up. I have never seen Cara run and play so much, and it didn't surprise me one bit that Domino was the one to accomplish this. These two never stopped running for the remainder of their outdoor time. They used every inch of the yard to their advantage as they sprinted full speed around and around. By the time we head indoors, Domino's tongue was hanging out the side of his mouth and he was more than ready for a midday nap.
Casey loved his outdoor time today. He was intrigued by all his new group members. Casey enjoyed the break from the boarding dogs and soaked up every minute of fun with the daycare pups. His first encounter was with the ever so lovely Delilah. She can be pretty choosy about who she wants to play with, and something about Casey was just right. They danced and frolicked back and forth until Casey got distracted by me kneeling while petting some of his mates. He took this opportunity to zoom over and get in on the cuddles. He happily accepted lots of pets and scratches and thanked me by slurping me all over. After some exploring, Casey was surprised by miss Tasha's forward demand to play with her. She pawed at Casey over and over until he finally gave in. The two were very cute play bowing back and forth. Tasha had her tail wagging very fast as Casey bum bumped her over and over. This afternoon handsome man, Casey, really liked when I sat in his kennel with him for a bit. He nuzzled me and was sure to appreciate every second. We then headed up to the reception area, where Casey seemed to be smiling ear to ear as he got lots more cuddles and hung out on the comfy chair.
Sadie was rather perky during her group today. She seemed to be the centre of attention when she first got outdoors. Domino was fascinated with her in particular despite the fact that they had already met. Domino was so flirty towards Sadie, kissing her head and ears with a wagging tail. She loved all the attention he was giving her. When he walked away from her she sauntered after him looking for more. Domino was busy playing, however Sadie continued to keep a close eye on him. All of a sudden Sadie found herself in the middle of a big game. Rather than playing along she chose to stand in the middle and referee. By referee, I mean woo at all the pups dancing and playing around her. Sadie is always sure to chat and communicate with us to let us know how she's feeling. I love her big howl so much, and so do our huskies. Through the remainder of Sadie's outdoor time she was sure to keep a close eye on her friends while wandering around, sniffing every corner. For her extra time this afternoon, Sadie and I explored a whole new area of the field. Since her very favorite thing - when she's by herself - is sniffing every inch of grass and ground, Sadie was captivated by the side field. We took our time and ended up coming back near the front field and moseyed down the driveway.
